Needs an original to clone
These are cloning or learning remotes. One needs an original to copy from and it then behaves like the original. I successfully copied an EV1527-type remote. The copies work like the original and don't need to be learned by (or paired with) the receiver. Many EV1527-type receivers have a limited number (about 20) of remote transmitters they can pair with, so this is a useful way of getting around that limitation. Not so useful when you need to un-pair just one device.These seem to be robustly constucted and are nicely rounded to slip into a pocket. The button surfaces are silicone rubber and have a nice tactile feel.

Followed the instructions on Amazon. Did not behave as expected from the sequence.

Was able to clone remote eventually instructions not great. Range is also not so good. In saying that they do clone ok and work.
