This is one of my favorite odd little comedies
This is one of my favorite odd little comedies. I have never seen anything like it, probably never will again. It's wonderful!! And I generally hate sitcoms, the intellect required to engage them is only slightly higher than reality shows like The Bachelor and that kind of thing. While not particularly intelligent, it draws on sources that are, and is therefore very cool and, if you understand the analogy, very funny. Not all the episodes are this way but many are. It starts out as a normal <sigh!> sitcom then gets a bit weird. and the first season goes on, it gets a LOT weird until it climaxes with the famous/infamous paintball war. There are references to masonic rites, 2001 space odyssey, a full-on Dr. Who parody called "Inspector Spacetime" and a later episode the nerdy part of the group attends an "Inspector Spacetime" convention, and the episode stars Matt Lucas as a hilarious clingy Whovian who wants to capture Abed as his friend forever. Lucas played the role with such comedic genius, he would up on Dr. Who as a full companion recently in the Capaldi years. I think someone denied once that the two events were connected, but COME ON!!! How could they NOT be???? LOLCourtney Patricia ParsonsPS Jonathan Banks is in the 5th season, Mike Ehrmantrout from Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul

Show, awesome. Set, asian.
I vote to the extreme! I love it, or hate it. I paid 60 dow-la (that's asian for dollar). It's okay to say it that way cause I'm part asian. Because I am asian, I know cheap (code penny pincher). I mean I do not want to let that penny go and it can't buy anything on its own. I mean that penny holds more value when used to hit hookers with them but I still don't want to let it go. Being cheap is in the DNA, so I know, because I'm part asian, raised in an asian household. This dvd set is cheap, I really do not like the new cheapness of dvd sets that just stack all the disks on one spindle. Shows awesome, set is asian.

Six Seasons and A Movie
I bought this as a Valentines gift for my boyfriend. He loves Community. We decided to watch it together. Let me just say, one of the best TV shows I have watched in a long time, that doesn't have to do with supernatural creatures and that is funny. Dan Harmon has changed my life in more ways than one. #6SeasonsandAMovieDan, if you are reading this (like you might for self validation) get your ass back to work and write a Community movie. We all want this, you want this. Think about how much more you will be liked if you do this. Just a thought.

Good price for entire series.
Complete series with commentaries, deleted scenes, etc. I didn’t really care for the packaging- the DVD’s were just stacked on top of each other with nothing to protect them from scratches but I have sleeves to place them in, so not a big deal. Just happy to have the whole set at such a great price. Six seasons and *hoping for* a movie.

2016 Edition -- Great show, TERRIBLE packaging
First off, Community is overall an EXCELLENT show. To fully appreciate it you have to enjoy its conceptual, meta, and self-referential aspects, but even on the surface it's perfectly cast and with amazing acting and writing. The sad thing with Community was its struggle to stay on the air, resulting in the loss of the creator Dan Harmond for Season 4 ("the gas-leak year"), then being cancelled and bought by Yahoo but with the return of its creator in Seasons 5 and 6, and the loss of Pierce (Chevy Chase), Troy (Donald Glover), and Shirley (Yvette N Brown) in the later seasons. Even with all that Community remained supremely watchable and enjoyable throughout its run.I thought I'd save some money and bought the 2016 release instead of the 2018 release. While I can't comment on th 2018 release, the 2016 release down't come with DVD cases, but is a box with a piece of black plastic with a center holder in it on which ALL 17 DVDs are just stacked one ontop of the other. This is a TERRIBLE design, hence the deduction of a star. If you're watching the show through, you have to pile the watched DVDs to the side, where they're easily knocked over. If you want to locate a specific disk you have to sort through them like cards. There's literally nothing whatsoever to seperate the DVDs, they just sit one on top of the other, meaning there's no way they won't eventually get scratched up. I've already knocked the pile of "watched" DVDs over a couple times, and noticed two places where disks now skip. It's a profoundly stupid design for a professional DVD box set release. It's a pile of DVDs! Arrgghhhh.Hopefully the newer release corrected this lazy, cheapo design. I'm sure I'll have to replace these eventually when too many disks start skipping, since there's no way to prevent it using the packaging it came in. Excellent show, horrible packaging.

Love this show
This show was an unexpected delight. The first episode was pretty funny but they just go better and better as the seasons went on. Both hilarious and endearing. I recommend this show, and this product has the whole thing in one package for a good price.

Greendale
Bought for my husband. He loves this show. I wish I had a video of his face when we opened the box. He was so excited. The DVDs are all stacked. Just have to be careful not to scratch them, but DVDs are great.

Good show, bad packaging.
Obviously, you're not gonna buy this unless you already like the show, so I'll spare you a review of the content. I ordered it, and it showed up even sooner than expected. Big plus. The packaging is decent, but the discs are all just stacked on top of each other. 17 discs, all touching. The potential for scratches is high.

One DVD doesn't work
As per usual with DVD sets, not all DVDs work... one doesn't. Can't open commentaries, it just crashes. Never buy DVD sets, it's a waste of money.

The Best TV Show Of All Time
Community has been my favourite TV show of all time ever since Yahoo! Screen picked it up for Season 6 back in 2015, and I don’t ever see that changing. I thought to myself that if the fanbase was fighting to get this show back on the air, then it has to be good. I was wrong, it was amazing. 10/10 series, 10/10 would buy again in the event of something happening to my copy. Buy this box set!!!

Great show... annoying container for the dvds
All the DVDs are in this collection but they are stored on a spindle... which is fine, but it's awkward to go through them and keep them in order. Perhaps a "temporary storage" spindle should have been included somehow, where you can put the earlier discs?

Great TV Show overall although the design of the Boxset could be improved.
The boxset and TV series is great overall. Although, it could be improved through not pilling the multiple disks on top of the others.
