+Anima, Vol. 4

I ordered two +Anima books from this shop, and they didn't disappoint! My 9 yr old and her friends love this series, they've been so excited to read and re-read them. I love seeing kids excited about reading! The books were in great condition, and arrived very quickly. Thanks so much for making my child's day!

Only volume I was missing after my bookstore stopped selling it when I was a teen. Nice to have the full story together, even years after the fact. Arrived in decent condition.

This fourth volume of +Anima continues the adventures of the characters introduced in the first volume: Cooro, the cheerfully impetuous crow-winged boy; Husky, the sulky hot-headed mer-boy who can't stand girls; Senri, the silent older youth whose right-arm is that of a bear; and Nana, the chatty bat-winged girl who main defense is her ultrasonic scream. Rose, the sexy older cat +anima girl who travels around as a peddler, joins them for the main story, and we get to meet her younger brother, Pinion, who does not appear to be a +anima but nonetheless has a special gift that others want to exploit. And a new +anima character is discovered, but to find out who and what kind of +anima they are, you'll have to read the book. There are two stories in this volume, one long five-part story that takes up most of the book and then another shorter one at the end. In "Maggie Coliseum", our heroes come to a town called Maggie Vil, ruled by a dynastic line of women, the Maggies. The life of the town centers around a series of non-lethal gladiatorial competitions held at a large coliseum. Husky takes center stage in this story and shows a talent none of the others knew he had, Nana gets taken in by the town's spoiled heir to the Maggie line, and quiet protective Senri ends up quite by chance rescuing Rose's brother Pinion from men who want to exploit him. And in "Little Flower", Nana gets an unexpected gift from the unlikeliest of givers. Both are good stories, and we get some surprising clues about Husky's mysterious background. If you liked the first three volumes, then you'll definitely like this one as well. Definitely a good, fun read.

I got this for my niece and she loved it. She is really in to Manga and had a hard time finding this volume, it was great that it was so easy to find on Amazon, it made her Christmas.

Okay. I ordered this book used and it came like new so I was very pleased. For all you manga lovers out there I would recommend +Anima.

The series is great and this book shows how people become +Animal and I love the series soooooo much! I recommend the whole series!
