Atomic Turquoise

Manic Panic Atomic Turquoise is a very true turquoise color. In the jar it looks darker, but on bleached hair it comes out the perfect shade. My 13 year old daughter wanted her hair done with a few fun colors. At first I had extensions put in, but they didn't hold. So I turned to Manic Panic. The brand I and all my friends used in the 90's. I picked up a box of Manic Panic Flash Lightning Hair Bleach Kit 40 Volume , some Soft 'N Style Translucent Brushs , and a few colors of Manic Panic, including this Atomic Turquoise color. After bleaching the area of her hair she wanted colored, I then applied the 3 Manic Panic shades. The color took to the bleached hair really well. It looks really good along side the Lie Locks and Mystic Heather colors we also used. It made for a kind of mermaid color pallet. I've added a photo to the customer images of how her hair turned out. I have bleached blonde hair and plan to add a few chunks of this color to the undersides of my own hair this summer, since it's such a fun color.

As you can see from the image, my hair is mid length. I have grown out my roots and just the bottom half is bleached. This product is by far my favorite. The formula not only gives me good coverage but it doesn’t stain me the same way other products do. It will also not transfer to your pillow! The jar has enough product to color my hair twice and lasts about a month and a half before I have to add more color. This despite the fact I wash my hair with hot water three times a week!

I used Electric Amethyst & Atomic Turquoise over gray! I wanted to use only a little bit at the front, and it came out great! I smothered the strands, then let it set while watching two TV episodes. Also used my blow dryer on low on the area for a few minutes. Pretty easy to do. Hope it lasts for a bit.

Very pretty color I got after using the 40 volume Manic Panic Amplified Bleach Kit twice in one sitting. I gave this 4 stars though because I can already see that it may fade quickly after a while but I don't really wash my hair every single day so it's fine. Plus I was scared that this wouldn't be enough but it was. I have plenty left for my touch up. But make sure your hair is a very bright or pale blonde because if it is gold or yellow then the blue dye will look green when washed and dried. This package came in on time too!

I love Manic Panic and I love teal, I've used this in the past, but didn't lighten my hair light enough and so it was more a green than teal. Lesson learned! And for a little jar I was able to do the ombre like I wanted as well as two boys' hair (one of which was a full head and a high and tight sort of haircut), longer hair of course I would suggest two bottles. The only way you would be able to get the color in the swatch is if you have pale/platinum blonde or white hair, but the longer you leave it the best result. Shipping was fast, it was coming from LA to Va Beach and it only took about three days and arrived a day before the estimated date. It also leaves your hair conditioned and a little more better shape feel wise after the bleaching. I've also used other colors and other brands for personal and other's hair (I use to be a cosmetology student) and Manic Panic is the best for funky alternative colors and I'd recommend it to every one whether it's their first time or 100th using rainbow colors!

Okay. Like everyone else and their mom, over the past 4 months I've picked up a few hobbies, or Quaran-talents as I call them. This was the summer of hair experiments, haha. I am now gray and obsessed with Dark Star, but before this, I had used Atomic Turquoise and Voodoo Blue. Manic Panic is truly THE best! I leave it on my dry hair with a shower cap for 2 hrs. For people saying it does not work, I'm not sure why. I naturally have dark brown hair. My before pics were super grown out highlights that were done last November. I had to bleach my hair ends (ombre like) only 1 time to get this amazingly rich color! Their blue colors are powerful!! Manic Panic is a really fun and inexpensive way to mix it up. To strip the blue, as I headed back to blonde, then gray, I used only vitamin C powder mixed with anti-dandruff shampoo until the end when I had to bleach 2 times to get it level 9 for Dark Star (I have awesome pics on that color too!) I hope this review and pictures are helpful in making a decision regarding purchasing this product. If it was, please let me know below :)

Love this hair dye, I swear by it and get many compliments: I shower in cold water and try to wash every two or three days. Dry shampoo is a good friend. Hair spray will fade it. Avoid products with sulfate and…..parabens

color is nice, mildly visible over highlighted dark hair. sadly it dried out my hair - I started with clean hair and rinsed with apple cider vinegar to seal in the color (which worked with shocking blue). I smoothed the dryness with olive oil conditioner and recolored some of the highlights again avoiding the dryer ones. with all manic panic you will have to clean your shower after washing and the color will not last more than 3 days. my towels are permanently stained.

No entiendo las malas reseñas, la verdad que hay que tener un poco de sentido común antes de escribir cualquier opinión! Obviamente tienes que tener el pelo decolorado si quieres obtener el color que compras, a no ser que tengas el pelo rubio platino por naturaleza! He teñido de varios colores con esta marca, y siempre he obtenido unos colores vivos, que duran muchísimo y no destiñen nada. Obviamente tienes que matizar como con cualquier tinte y aclarar con agua fría, varias veces si hace falta ya con champú + acondicionador adecuados para el cabello teñido! Y por último: Obviamente tienes que tener un poco de experiencia si vas a teñirte tú mismo/a y respetar los tiempos de aplicación (ya sea de decoloración o el tinte en sí) y tener algo de paciencia para que el cabello se recupere un poco después de cada deco, ya que es sumamente importante que no se queme el pelo y no quede porroso, sino cualquier color que le pongas encima no va a agarrar como se quisiera. Yo estoy enamorada de esta marca. Los colores fantasía duran un montón y son muy llamativos y preciosos! Justo hoy me puse el Silver Stiletto y cómo siempre, no me ha defraudado. De hecho compraré otro bote desde ya! 😍

Je suis très contente du produit il coloré tes bien sans abîmé le cheveux très belle couleur par contre tâche beaucoup la peau bien se protéger avant mettre de la crème ou vaseline sur le tour de votre tête sinon aie aie

Yes, it stains pretty easily like other reviews state, but have your area covered and wrap each section you colour in plastic as you do it and there’s no problems. Colour was bold and vibrant after just 30 minutes in my (already coloured but fading) hair. This will stretch my professional colour for months! Love it and will get more colours

I bought this hoping it would be a nice turquoise colour but this is full blown blue. While I don’t care too much, it covered my hair so nicely. My hair was at a pale purple/blonde before using this. I covered my brown roots right up. It actually turned out really nice. I was nervous that because all the purple wasn’t out of hair yet that it might turn brown a bit but nope.. solid blue.. I’m hoping as I sweat in my dirtbike helmet, it doesn’t stain my helmet- otherwise I’ll be back to change this review lol.. so as of now I’m quite happy with my purchase!! I also put 3 streaks in my daughters hair (she has a light brown colour). It doesn’t appear as bright as mine of course but she’s still happy to be someone twinsies with mommy. Update: no staining in my dirtbike helmet or dye running down my neck or face in the heat. Recent photo is after about 6-7 washes. The old purple is starting to show now as the blue fades away. I have ordered a new bottle to re-dye next week.

Cercavo un azzurro esattamente di questa tonalità e sono rimasta super soddisfatta. La tinta dura tantissimo, dopo averla fatta è accesa e brillante (foto 1). Sono stata ogni giorno al mare e sotto il sole e il colore non si è mai trasformato, solo sbiadito (foto 2) fino a diventare chiarissimo (foto 3). Nessun verde, nessun colore strano, solo la mia base bionda che stava fuoriuscendo. È durata tutto il mese di agosto con la mia testa costantemente in acqua e sotto la doccia. Sono convinta che in circostanze normali possa arrivare a due mesi su una base decolorata come la mia. Ho provato diverse marche ma questa non macchia pelle o vestiti o fodere del cuscino, la amo. Almeno per quanto riguarda Atomic Turquoise sceglierò sempre Manic Panic.
