Very Happy
This is really an exceptional pump and it superseded all of my expectations. I bought it to provide water to the plants on my patio as an apartment dweller I needed something that could draw from a water source and deliver a decent head of flow. I really appreciate that it worked off 12 volts DC as I have a myriad of 12 volt power supplies. The fact that works on 12 volts is great because you don't necessarily need wall power to do it, you can run it from a car battery like say you are camping or in an RV or something like that. I'm going to purchase another one to make a DIY swamp cooler because it is very efficient and strong. It needs to be submerged or have the water present in order to make it flow, but I found it worked very well with a 700 milliamp power supply. The rating written on the sticker says 4.5 Watts which if he / 4 volts is about 450 milliamps but you definitely want to give it more than enough power. You cannot start this thing dry and expected to suck the water in you need to submerge it or have water present in the lines in order for it to pump efficiently.. brushless? Check. 12 volts? Check. I expect this thing to operate for long periods of time.

READ if it doesnt work at first
I already had a couple of pumps from old water fountains, so when I got this pump for a special project i was surprised it did not work at first. I tried to prime it but nothing. I tried 2 different power supplies from my other pumps and nothing. Then I noticed that the power supply the vendor recommends is a 2amp 12v power supply. The ones from my other pumps were 200ma. Luckily I had a 12v 2amp power supply lying around and the pump worked perfectly with the 2amps. So, if you get this pump and use older power supplies, make sure you have a 12v 2amp otherwise this pump will not work

Great value for a mini pump
I bought this pump to circulate my kid's water table from the pool to the top rain feature. This pump is compact enough to mount and hide away and with enough power to move a fair amount of water. It worked perfectly.

Doesn’t work out-of-the-box
Not much to say; connected it to a 12V power adaptor and the pump doesn’t turn on. It does a great job at getting warm but it doesn’t pump, no noise, nothing.

don't use for coolant!!!
i bought this pump to run as a small coolant pump for a vehicle. the pump works great and flows a good amount of water for its size. but once my car got up to temp the pump melted and started to leak. great pump for its size but do not use this with hot coolant! pump has no suction capability and needs to be primed to work. very compact size and comes with an ok mounting bracket.

In order to use I have to first suck some liquid up into the pump
Works OK but is not self priming. In order to use I have to first suck some liquid up into the pump. Not ideal.

Nice little pump but did not have the lift ability as advertised

Good water lifting power
Small unit that delivers water as promised. Only thing that must be added separately is the 12 volt power plug-in unit. Just submerge the pump, plug it in and it self-primes and works.
