Liefeld!
Rob Liefeld catches a lot of flack for some reasons that I can understand and others that I cannot. I think he makes really fun, cool looking comic books. Is he Alex Toth or John Buscema? No, he is not. His draftsmanship is not in that league by a long shot but he has something all his own. Rob has his own vibe and flavor to bring to the table. This vibe/flavor involves double page spreads, splashes, pouches, extended fight scenes, grimacing and all the other Liefeld tropes. Some people hate this, that's fine. I for one, love it!!Bad Blood is an enjoyable read with fun art. Actually, I genuinely feel Rob's art has improved in many ways over the years and his stuff is looking really good on this book. The colors are solid too, which helps. The story is nothing earth-shatteringly amazing but it's enjoyable. I'd definitely recommend this if you're looking for a fun, solid read with memorable visuals . If you're a Liefeld fan and/or a Deadpool fan, you will probably dig this graphic novel. I'm looking forward to "Badder Blood"!!

Liefeld returns to Deadpool
Bad Blood was written by Rob Liefeld who helped originally create Deadpool in the X-Force series. He uses that background to create this short comic. The mysterious Tolliver has died who was a major villain in X-Force. Deadpool heard he had some secret weapon and wanted to find it. He brings Domino along for help. That allowed Liefeld to bring in Cable and the rest of the X-Force in a flashback sequence to link everything together. Liefeld even brings in the Mutant Liberation Front and has Shatterstar cut off Reaper’s hand like he did back in the day.It turns out the secret weapon is a character named Thumper who works for the Canadian government. Rather than following commands however, Thumper always goes after Deadpool. That means the Canadians want him back which brings in Weapon X to do that job.No spoilers but there’s a bitter sweet twist to the story which makes it better than the usual comic.

Deadpool: Bad Blood
I love this because we learn more about Deadpool as a kid and Domino is in it a lot. Love her. A killer robot think called Thumper always shows up and beats Deadpool crazy almost killing him. Garrison Kane kidnaps Deadpool to help him kill Thumper. Not really but he says that. while fighting with Thumper Deadpool learns who Thumper is, an old school best friend. Deadpool decides to try and save him not kill him. Thumper is unstoppable though. One hell of a fight that everyone wants to end differently than Deadpool. And everyone knows how Deadpool feels being set up and lied to.

Expecting more 😕
I'm a big fan of Rob liefeld. I'm around the same age kinda grew up on his art. I even remember when he did the Levi commercials. Saying that, I'm sorry to say I was a little disappointed. The story was weak. The art was great except the main bad guy, kind of blah to look at. Maybe next time Rob could write the story himself. I was just expecting more.

Just finished reading and I think overall it was pretty enjoyable. I'd say it was a decent blend of old school style Deadpool with a fair (but not overly done) amount of newer cheekiness. It also featured some old school X-Force members including Cable, Domino, and more. It ends fairly abruptly but in a way that leaves intrigue for the next edition. I personally enjoyed the art a lot because it had the same gritty edgy feel as the original Deadpool but with a much newer polished look. The story was not phenomenal but not one of the worse, definitely entertaining for a smaller volume like this. There's a Taylor Swift reference on page 36...made you look!

Good writing
Good writing and fun story but Liefeld's art still isn't for me and probably never will be. But if you're a fan you'll probably dig it. Colouring is on point.

Same ol' marvel , nothin special .
Average story , same old repetitive marvel , Robs art is good but doesnt really compare to his old stuff , maybe its the ink job over his pencils that looses some of the detail ?

Buena historia, arte y calidas
la historia sucede en los 90s cuando recién se forma la X-Force original. Si leíste esos comics será más fácil de entender. La calidad del papel de primera. Buen arte de Liefeld. Recomendable.
