Is there any way to collect data from recorder without using proprietary software? i.e. download the csv file and sort with Excel?

For a non-technical user, no. However, once the data is downloaded, I think it is in CSV format or can be exported as CSV. For a technical user, the cable is just a USB-serial interface, and when I asked EXTECH they (actually FLIR) sent me the protocol, so it shouldn't be hard to use Python or some other language to query and save data over the serial port.

Does the extech co210 air quality carbon dioxide data logger come with a certificate of calibration?
