Laundry Turtle Collapsible Laundry Basket for Washer & Dryer (Green, Large)

I am too lazy to write reviews. Plus, by the time I’ve had something long enough to know whether it really was worth the purchase or not, I don’t think about things like reviews. But I’ve had my turtle for about 2 years and it’s truly one of those things I never want to do without ever again. I’m a senior. My bedroom is on the first floor and the laundry room is upstairs. The stairs turn. The railings stop during the turns. I like to hold the railing as my balance isn’t what it used to be. Neither are my knees nor the rest of me, but enough said. Carrying a laundry basket up and down stairs when I can’t see the steps nor can I hold the railing was unsafe. I either had to ask for help, which still being of an independent and stubborn mind I did not like to do, or go down backwards while dragging my basket step by step and hoping I wasn’t scratching the woodwork. Now granted the Turtle is way more expensive than a plastic laundry basket. However, it is soooo worth it. I can clasp a full load in my large size Turtle in one hand, hold the stair rail with the other and safely navigate the stairs on my own without fear. Now if you are 18-60, that probably doesn’t sound like a big deal. But for me, it is. So I highly recommend these for seniors. Plus they fold away so nicely and you don’t have some big ugly plastic laundry basket hanging around.

I really like this thing! I found it on TT. I was super worried at first bc when I put it in my dryer I felt like it was too small but it does a great job getting all my clothes. It’s fantastic for my back since I don’t have to keep bending over to get the everything. Foldability is not as complicated as I thought it was going to be, it’s just like the sunshade for your car. It’s super lightweight and easy to carry your clothes. Feels well made.

This makes switching laundry so much easier! I use it to switch from the washer to dryer and then again from the dryer to my room. It's useful it stores in a small space and it seems so far like it's very quality made, I couldn't be happier or recommend this product more.

I am a minimalist. So if it collapses, weighs very little, and has great utility, I will purchase it and give it a go. This is 100% all those things. If. . . you own a front-load washing machine. Good luck trying to spin your wet clothes into the Laundry Turtle if you have to use a top-loader. The agitator will block your advances. They probably speak about that somewhere, and maybe I should feel silly not thinking that through. As a hamper? Nope. This is literally a clothes taco. When you're ready to do laundry, stuff the taco with your funk-cheesed clothes, and take it on down to Wash Town. It gets the job done. The dryer flipping works perfectly, so I give it 5/5 on using it in front-loading devices, but. . . It's a literal taco. Socks fall out. Underwear falls out. If you do not load this thing thoughtfully, you will have the problems they say it eliminates: losing stuff as you move about. I've used it three times to get from third-floor apartment to laundry room and back, and every time, something falls out. Honestly, no big deal. I just modify my strategies with that issue in mind. Socks/underwear in the dead middle or on the bottom of a pile, for example. Larger items like shirts and pants on the top. Taco up and taco-it-all home again. It's legit a transport device for people in my situation. Or, if you're one of those 1% we've heard about and you don't have a maid, I guess the trek from your 20th bedroom on the 5th floor to the laundry room in the dungeon might make this incredibly useful for you. Not a hamper. Don't try to toss your clothes on it to taco up later, not worth Gets the job done. Feels well-designed and the materials seem sturdy and quality. The fact you can collapse it, bag it with its provided bag contraption sewn on. . . all great! I would buy this again. I would certainly recommend you get one, too, if you see the value I am trying to advocate. But I have to go 4/5.

I've had this for years, now and it still works perfectly. Sometimes, there's more laundry in the dryer than will fit in the turtle, but it's very flexible and you can stuff those extra shirts and boxers into the sides, no problem. This is especially good for someone in a small apartment with limited space for storing a laundry basket.

I have only used it once. I got the large size. I easily put the turtle in my dryer, rotated the drum, and my huge pile of laundry fell perfectly. I was able to easily carry my clean laundry! And, the best part, it folds up and doesn’t take up space! If you’re hesitant, don’t be! Get it asap! You will not be disappointed.

honestly this thing is amazing, I hang it up next to my dryer and can take it into my house from the garage to fold in one trip! I am lazy and usually wash big loads so I wish it was a teensy bit more sturdy but it’s a lifesaver!!

I suppose it's helpful but but I don't love it as much as others do. I have friends that say this is a necessity in life. I use it to move the clothes but not sure it's a tool that I need. Fun gift idea though. Nothing wrong with it... just not necessity.

it does live up to its purpose of holding all the clothes in from the drier to another room. bought a smaller one so i can use in our washing machine (to transfer clothes from washing machine to drier). also, this Christmas, bought for every ladies in the family. am sure they will find useful in their household also.

So simple! So helpful! It’s one of those products that makes me kick myself for needlessly hurting my back for years gathering up laundry, when all that was needed was a flip, a grab, and I’m done. I held off getting a laundry turtle for some time because it seemed expensive for what you get, but for how much it helps, and how convenient it is, it’s easily worth the price. I will be buying more as gifts for friends. If you get back pain doing laundry, do yourself a favor and get this; you’ll be happy you did!!
