Ghostblood Semi-Permanent Color 4 fl oz

This is the best WHITE WHITE hair toner out there but you have to use it correctly! 1. This ain’t a squeeze bottle product you can just slap on and comb through. Treat this like you are applying a permanent grey coverage color or lightener and need to get perfect saturation, taking tiny little sections and fully saturating. You will need a whole tube for even a short haircut, and for longer hair you may need several. 2. Apply this on dried, freshly processed or shampooed hair, while the cuticle is still raised. Do not use conditioner prior to using this! 3. The hair needs to be a true level 10, inside of a banana peel yellow. This will turn a level 9 into a nice toned blonde, but nothing a purple shampoo couldn’t do. 4. Pulp Riot is a clearly color depositing product meaning that when it’s done processing, if you scrape the color with the back of a rat tail it should come up white or with the faintest hint of a color. The product almost dries out to a waxy consistency when it’s done processing, and it does best if you kind of keep your sections separated and resist the urge to comb it all together. For this product, expect to let it sit for 60-120 minutes. You really cannot overprocess this color, and it’s near impossible to overshoot violet.

Used this for the first time on level 10 lightened hair and while it looks extremely pigmented (purple/blue) while it is on the hair, when I rinsed it out my hair is pure white!! It took me about an hour to apply it and then I let it process for another 45 minutes. No traces of lilac left like I've had when toning with other semi permanent colors. Glides through the hair for easy saturation too. Will be using this again!

Did not work at all.

My hair was already at a level 10+, but due to the semi permanent color I had before, my hair had a green tint to it (after doing a bleach bath and using toner). I decided to try Ghostblood to help remove the slight green tint (I had a tube left over from when I used Ghostblood to make pastel colors), and it worked wonderfully. If you don’t have your hair near a platinum color already for the base, I don’t see Ghostblood doing much of anything noticeable.

Pretty good. Started off with 9-9.5 base and got my hair pretty white, but can easily soak up those blue tones and go a bit gray (depending on how porous your hair is and how long you leave it on for). Product itself is pretty thick and will likely need more than you think you will (depending on your hair density and length). Think I still prefer Manic Panic’s Virgin Snow over this, but interested to try mixing the two and see what kind of result I get.

I've heard so much great things from a friend who studied hair in London about the quality and professionalism of Pulp Riot that I just had to try out the brand. First my hair is blonde and short, probably a level eight, maybe a nine wear my ends have been wrecked by the bleach. I've been in limbo about what I should do with it so I decided to keep with the blonde but tone it a color to freshen it up. The product arrived on time without a hitch and I was excited to try it out. It's a conditioner like product so there is no harm to the hair, and leaves it in better condition that before. I followed the recommended leave-in time and applied throughout my hair evenly. After rinsing the results weren't dramatic or strong. It definitely toned the hair, neutralizing the brass and yellow tones, but did not give the strong Ghost blood color I was hoping for. However my hair was not the blondest color and probably would of worked better on freshly bleached hair, a tone lighter than mine. Over all I would recommend the product but would caution against strong color results on this specific color.

I use this to tone the yellowing minerals out of my gray. It really works!!!
