It's corks
I use these for makeshift handles for painting miniatures or model kit parts. Wine corks are great handles when using a piece of brass rod attached to the object you are painting for by using blue tack to attach it to the top. This makes for cheap and easy handles compared to the standard fare offered by hobby companies that have overly elaborate mechanisms that are more easily done using this method or double sided tape attached to scrap building material.Good value for money, when the corks I have no longer work I will be buying this bulk lot again.
