Revolution, Superfix Setting Spray

I’ve used Urban Decay All Nighter and Revlon Infallible setting sprays for years. They’ve held up through humid summers, but each has its issues. Urban Decay locks in makeup, but the mist can dampen styled or straightened hair and cause frizz. Revlon doesn’t mess with your hair, but it feels heavy—like hairspray on your face. If you layer it for extra hold, your brows and lashes stiffen, and your glasses stick to your nose bridge like glue. I wanted something that could handle heat and humidity without making my face feel tight or sticky. This new setting spray surprised me—in a good way. It’s not aerosol, but the mist is fine and you only need to use 3-4 sprays for your entire face. I tested it with four layers and still felt comfortable. No stiffness, no crunch. After five hours out on a humid night, my makeup stayed in place even though I wasn’t wearing anything waterproof. That glow in the photo? All setting spray. It also helped everything blend together beautifully. My skin looked fresh, not cakey, and my glasses didn’t stick to my face. That alone felt like a win. I didn’t expect it to work this well, but I’m impressed. It gave me hold, comfort, and a natural finish. Definitely buying again.

I have tried so many different setting sprays and this one is so amazing and affordable. I don't know what is in this that makes it better than the more expensive ones but I absolutely love it. Im 5r and a mail carrier in Ohio and its been extremely hot and humid and I wear minimal makeup at work and it doesn't budge all day. Great stuff

Finally a fair price for a beauty product of this category! Huge bottle and seems to work well at keeping makeup on. I don’t smell any fragrance and personally wish there was some type of fragrance but overall a great value for your money. I’m so sick of seeing bottles the size of my palm for $30! It’s non-greasy and works well. The mister could be a little more refined but it does the job.

I had no issues with this kind. I would recommend looking up ways to apply to help it work to its full potential! When applied correctly it’s lightweight, no oiliness (that’s what I focus on to help), good can size, I like how it comes out like a hairspray instead of a spray bottle of water. It is sticky until dried but once it’s dried that feeling goes away. The teal/green can that says Dewy will be the kind I try next. Two popular TikTok people I watch says that kind isn’t dewy really it just makes your makeup look like skin, not applied layers of makeup. So the look from both types do vary.

This is the best setting spray I’ve ever used! It has a glowy but non greasy finish, and is a very moisturizing formula. It has a slight fresh scent though.

I absolutely love this stuff. Living here in Texas I can have days where I literally look like I’m melting like the wicked witch of the West lol I use this as a first layer once I have applied my foundations and concealer. Then add my powder and finish it off with the L’Oreal spray that comes in a red (I can’t remember the name). And literally there was a time where I went to an event that ended super late, fell asleep and overslept and got up and had to go to work immediately, and my makeup was still in place except for a light smudge on my brow. (Which may have been more due to me sleeping so wild lol). And I find that there was not a lot of transfer when I touch my face. It goes on pretty wet so keep that in mind for people who wear individual lashes. But it dries seamlessly and I feel that it gives me a Dewey glow as well. And it doesn’t leave a residue or feel sticky like the other L’Oreal one that I was describing in the red can. 10 out of 10 recommend for sure.

Even though this spray says that is mad it actually leaves a satin finish and I use this particular spray especially if I use a lot of powder and or mattifying foundations and this helps to bring back some moisture back into my face and make my skin look more skin like

I have acné prone skin, extremely sensitive to anything and everything also very dry and this spray is the best thing I have tried it keeps the make up all day and it doesn’t make me look dull
