First off, people giving bad reviews about Bluetooth connectivity probably installed the control box in the engine bay which the instructions specifically states to not do due to high temps and possible moisture. If the control box is in the engine bay, the Bluetooth signal will have to pass through more material (e.g. firewall) you’ll most likely have a weak or failing connection. A lot of people also mentioned about one of the wires being too short. I ran into this problem, but found a grommet I could run the wires through in the wheel well area and all standard wires made it into my driver’s footwell area easily. You just need to examine your vehicle to find the best path for your wires. Build quality is really nice. The aluminum frame is lightweight and rigid which helps mounting it correctly and firmly. Brightness is pretty bright and gives the wow factor, it’s difficult to make out in pictures, but in person it’s bright. Installation was straightforward, just make sure to follow the instruction guide for placement locations of LED strips, control box, and power supply. Mounting the strips is also straightforward and feels very solid. There are a few minor negative points though. The white color isn’t really pure white, it’s more of a white with hints of blue/purple coloring in it. It looks white enough, but the color isn’t accurate. Running the wires was the most difficult part of the installation. I have no experience in running wires, but I was able to bring all connectors to the control box. Make sure you avoid zip tying the strip wires to suspension components, one iffy area I zip tied was the wire to the control arm of the suspension, but I feel the control arm won’t move too drastically while daily driving. Took me about 5 hours because I was double checking a lot of things, but I’m sure you can install it within 2 hours or so. Overall, good build quality and brightness, but the white color accuracy is not that great. Other colors are very vibrant and accurate though. If you buy this, good luck! It’s a fun install and the results look great 👍🏽

Kit is super well made and easy to install.. plenty of wire to mount box in central location. Had a slight issue with one of the bar, customer service was awesome responded super fast, and was able to find a solution to get me a new one fast. Super satisfied all around.

Awesome product and they stand behind it. Mine stopped working about a year after install, customer service was super quick to reply and get me sorted with a replacement control box. I already have two kits and will definitely be getting more for other projects.

First let me say, Customer Service was great! I contacted them through email and they responded very quickly and addressed my issue. I installed these about a year ago on a 2011 WRX. The aluminum housings are rigid and strong. I was able to easily rout the wire under body panels and attach the long side rails with Rare Earth magnets under the chassis. Using magnets eliminated the need to drill holes and hold really well. They actually hold so well you need to use a tool to get them off. This was a much better solution than using the "tape" style LED's sold by others. I have seen too many of these style lights fall off in the Florida heat. Here is a link to the magnets I used: https://amzn.to/3syoWG8 . I sourced stainless hardware locally to attach the LED's to the magnets using the tabs on the end of the LEDs. I also added 2 magnets to the middle area of each side using the included clips and zip ties. This put 4 100lb magnets on each side LED so they are going nowhere. If you do this I would recommend removing as much of the undercoating as you can where the magnets is but be careful not to damage the paint. Overall the brightness is great! I had read on other products that some people installed two sets of lights, this was not needed with these. The app works very well on my Apple phone and is easy to navigate. I plan to purchase an interior set since you can link them in the app and sync the color. The control unit is mounted in an enclosure under the hood next to the fuse box. I can connect to it from about 35' away with no issues. One thing to note, I wired these to an "always on" power source so they can be run while it's parked for car meets at night. I have forgotten to turn these off several times at the end of the night and found that they draw so little power it did not drain the battery overnight.

So I bought this for my wife for Christmas and had it professionally installed. First week we were having issues. First the Bluetooth app kept unpairing from the controller device. So we would have to pair the device all over and then Bluetooth reconnect just to be able to control it. We would cut the lights off and go to bed and wake up the next morning and the lights would be back on without us turning them on. And this happened often. So then we would have to pair and reconnect the device AGAIN just to turn the lights back off. Sometimes the Bluetooth app couldn’t even find the device. So we had to uninstall the app, reinstall the app again, go back through the pairing process, reconnect the device to the app on our phones which we used iPhone and Android phones to work it. We mostly used my wife’s Android because we thought maybe they were interfering with each other. So I uninstalled the app from my iPhone to see if we got better results with just one Android phone having the app downloaded. Still same issues. Then last week we found the lights on one morning after we had cut them off the night before and couldn’t cut them off. We tried to pair the controller with the app but the app couldn’t see it. So we took it back to the installer. They told us that the device (controller) was defective already. We only had this system for about 4 or 5 months, not even 6 months. The installer has advised us to contact the company and notify them of the defective controller. We will be in the process of doing so and keep you updated on our experience. So far this has been frustrating, aggravating, and annoying all at the same time. When it worked though, it was really beautiful lighting. But it was not working more than it was working for us. The installer said the remote kind worked better which I don’t know because I have not tried it yet but I would tell all buyers go with the remote kind. The installer said they have had less trouble and return visits from those with the remote type then with the Bluetooth type. The Bluetooth App version needs some work and will completely frustrate you.

The product is great. I love my lights, they are super bright and the bluetooth connectivity is easy to use and works great. I've had them for almost and year and they stopped working so I contacted customer service and they were super helpful and quick to respond (within 24hrs). They were able to help me with my problem and am happy with their help.

although I never got a chance to use and decided to return once looking at it, the quality in person seemed great and I had a friend who purchased it and was happy with the functionality the brightness and how easy it was to install so I would assume it was a great value for the money that’s why I purchased it, but unfortunately, I did return and not get the benefits of this product.
