It is Just AMAZING!!
I have delayed buying a pillow for far too long and until I had eye surgeries, didn't realize how bad my old pillow was. I had been using a rolled up towel under my neck to support my head. I woke up DAILY with sore neck or shoulder muscles and far too often a headache. Pillow shopping is fraught with a bewildering number of choices and prices from low to astronomical. I bought this on sale at the holidays, based on the high number of excellent reviews. Best gift I gave myself this year. The. BEST. Gift!! FYI, I am a back and side sleeper, so I can't comment if this would work for tummy sleepers. Out of the bag, it fluffs up fast. Had NO icky chemical smell or odor. I almost thought it was the wrong pillow, I expected thinner than this. I was a little nervous about trying it. Well, let me tell you, this pillow is FANTASTIC!!! It instantly conformed to my head. I woke up for the first time in YEARS without: A headache, sore neck, sore shoulders or sore anything else. I almost cried I was so pleased. I thought it must be a fluke. It wasn't a fluke. I sleep so comfortably, wake up pain free and refreshed. The only con is that it's so thick, it barely fits in a standard pillow case. I honestly would rate this higher, if I could.

Comfort and durability
These pillows are extremely soft and comfortable! We have had ours for about a year and they are like brand new, which shows good quality and durability.

Great pillow but priced a bit high
I do like this pillow and sleep with it every night...but pricey and not sure I would buy again.

Oh, Yes! Finally a Pillow That Doesn't Hurt My Neck
In the past few months, I've tried every kind of pillow imaginable to help alleviate the neck pain I experience at night. Finally, at the recommendation of my sister, I tried this Caspar pillow. On my first night, even though I still had some neck pain in the morning, I wasn't awakened by it and slept through the night. It's only gotten better since then. The pillow is firmer than a down pillow, but it still has a fluffy (not thick) feel to support me whether I sleep on my side or on my back. I can fold it around my shoulder or tuck it under my chin or against my cheek. The center of it, where my head rests, feels firmer than the sides. Until my neck pain started, I preferred a relatively flat, firm pillow. I hated too much loft, whether by stacking pillows or sleeping on a super-stuffed one. When my pain entered its second week, I started experimenting. Memory foam and cervical neck pillows kept my head from moving, which turned excruciating two hours in. Alternative down pillows from other known mattress companies, even those pillows labeled "soft," pushed my head too far forward due to their thickness, also making the pain worse. Even though I'm allergic to feathers, I almost tried down pillows, but fortunately I found this Caspar first. It has a lot of loft, but the weight of my head sinks better into it than with other pillows. It doesn't keep my head from moving, either. It just feels fluffy and soft and gentle. I went back and forth between getting the Essential Pillow or the Original Pillow. Since they sounded similar, I finally settled on the Essential because of the price at the time. After all, I had already spent a lot on trial pillows. It must be dry-cleaned, however, while the Original does not. The pillow comes tightly rolled inside a compact box. Immediately, when removed, it fluffs up to the size and shape it should. (The company says to wait 48 hours before full loft -- I didn't find a lot of difference after the first couple of hours.) It is not a memory foam pillow; it does not have that squishy feel. Instead, it feels as close to down, with a supportive middle, as alternative down can get. -- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

I had to leave this comment
I don't leave nearly as many comments as I should -- since I rely upon them when shopping. In this case, I really had to. But I found a shortcut because the top comment took the words out of my mouth. Line-by-line I agree with everything she had to say. So here it is again: "Finally a Pillow That Doesn't Hurt My Neck" In the past few months, I've tried every kind of pillow imaginable to help alleviate the neck pain I experience at night. All I will add is that I find myself wanting to turn in earlier just for the comfort and relief!

Not as high quality as advertised
Not too bad, for the price I expected them to last longer, but thy'r enot that awesome. The fill shifts around a lot, mostly moving to the outside edges. you can fluff it up daily and it will fluff, but it doenst hold its shape. Its also not extremely supportive, to get just basic support you have to manipulate the fill. I got these on sale, glad it wasn't full price becasue these are not as high-quality as other pillows. If to need a firm, more form fitting pillow, dont buy these. I dont like shredded foam, or gel, or anything else except fiber fill piloows, and these are lacking slightly in the fill and support departments. Casper is a very popular brand, but I recommend looking at other brands. I hate wasting money, so I'll make due with this until its completely unuseable

No regrets, perfect comfort match
I purchased the Casper Essential Pillow a few years ago for my husband at Costco and immediately wished I’d grabbed extras. This pillow has held up its shape better than any pillow I’ve ever owned — it’s never gone flat, lumpy, or lost its structure over the years. I finally decided to buy more during Prime Day for the rest of the family, and I’m so glad I did. The value is incredible considering the durability, comfort, and longevity. It’s unbelievably fluffy yet perfectly supportive. I’m a side and stomach sleeper who occasionally rolls onto my back, and I’ve had zero neck pain or need to scrunch it for extra support. Plus, it looks beautiful on the bed — full, plush, and inviting. Thickness is just right for all sleep positions. It’s not adjustable but we haven’t needed to since it’s comfortable as is. If you’re tired of constantly replacing pillows, this one is absolutely worth the investment. I won’t have to shop for pillows again anytime soon!
