I've had different pairs of Converse over the years, but these have held up much better than expected. Also, I have noticed that the material does not show dirt or scuffs easily, though it has a different feel. The thickness of the sole is perfect, the color is black enough, but the durability is the most notable

It’s been years since I put on a pair of Converse hi-tops. I needed some black comfy shoes for an event. Received these in a day, size and color were correct. Wore them all day like a pair of slippers, they were so comfy. Shoe has enough room inside for an arch support, which I use in both shoes. Highly Recommended.

No arch support, wear out quickly and color fades fast. My Daughter LOVES them. Great teen sneaker in fun colors. We often get multiple pairs so she can wear them in opposition of each other. Fun and sassy at the same time.

Love the basic Chucks I go down a full size from my normal size of 10 men's, perfect fit everytime but I do have thin long feet so a half size down if you have wider feet is probably a good idea, these are a bit different as far as the inside canvas seems to have been replaced with a very slightly cushioned fabric, but still as comfortable as ever

The shoes fit great like the old days but the USPS worker put it in a wrong parcel box and thank goodness another Amazon worker was there to help me navigate where they were ( totally wrong box assigned) so I'm relieved because these aren't cheap! Props to the Amazon worker!!

The Chucks are great. This is my second pair of Converse but my first high tops. Purchased these for weightlifting. They're lightweight and run true to size. I'm able to lace these up tightly so my feet don't move around in my shoes while I'm lifting, and the high top gives me more support at the ankle, which is nice for squats. The tread is grippy. I'm sure I'll wear these in more places than just the gym, as Chucks are versatile shoes. My one issue with this order has nothing to do with the product; I actually ordered these shoes twice. I got a notification the day my first order was supposed to arrive telling me the package had been "damaged in transit." Amazon's policy required me to take a refund and re-order the shoes instead of just sending me another pair. I'm willing to believe there's some logic to that, but it did take me about two weeks to get the shoes. I—unbelievably—had no luck finding a red pair of high tops in my size in local stores or even on other websites... except Zappos, which Jeff Bezos *also* owns. Annnnnnd Zappos cost $5 more, so... Jeff Bezos gets my money again, albeit $5 less than what he could have gotten. This is my mea culpa for giving Jeff and Lauren Bezos my money. My we all overcome our need for getting exactly what we want for the least amount of money in an absurdly short timeframe—all of which is killing this planet and humanity. May god have mercy on our souls. But yeah, nice Chucks.

I’m 44 and these are still my favorite daily drivers. Honestly, at this price point, they beat out high-end leather sneakers that cost over $100. They are incredibly comfortable and way more versatile. I wear them for everything—gym, park walks, or even a night out. They look great with shorts, chinos, or jeans. You just can’t beat the value.

Ordered these for my wife. Here's her review: Converse never disappoints! These shoes are like made for my feet. My feet are on the longer and thinner side, and Converse always fits like a glove. I went with half a size bigger than my usual size and it is perfect. There is also room for my toes to move so these can be worn with slightly thicker socks too. Often times off-brand tennis shoes run wider in size and look like clown shoes on my feet. Converse is pretty much the only brand that is just right. If these are as durable as usual, they will be in use for a very long time!
