Awesome hibachi grill
The Yak grill is a great portable hibachi. Its heavier than it looks and is really well built. Very easy to clean. I added a mesh grill grate and yakitori rods which I ordered directly from Yak. I have used both Thaan and lump charcoal. Both worked great and produced plenty of heat. I bought this grill to take on camping trips but Ill be using it in the backyard on a regular basis. Fun to cook on and produces great food.

Best grill ever!
This grill is outstanding! We had the best time using this on a summer night in our backyard. It is top quality, comes with a bag to store it in and is very safe sitting on your table with the bottom not getting super hot. Can’t wait for our bbqs all summer long!

Missing Items
I ordered this item which says it "Includes Grate Handle & Carrying Case", neither were in the box. I contacted YAK support who basically washed their hands of it and blamed Amazon. It's a shame that YAK didn't offer better help. Makes me think twice about their products if they can't get this right.

Great little grill, I tend to grill a lot of skewers and it is easy with this grill.

Expensive for what it is, which is tiny.
Yes I read the size before I bought it, but wow it’s tiny and it comes with a western style grill plate not a Japanese mesh grate. It’s well made and worked on our outdoor bench but for the same price or a little more you can get a much larger gas or charcoal grill, you’re buying a metal box for 200$

AWESOME GRILL AND IT'S FUN!
The media could not be loaded. I was very excited to get my Yak grill and try it out. Loved the concept of tabletop grilling. You have a niche product and it checks a lot of boxes for portability and functionality. I am a long time griller/smoker, there's not many outdoor cooking utensils I don't own. Grill is beautiful stainless, lightweight and compact so the portability is a great attribute. The fact that the coals are hot for a extended period of time makes for a great flexibility for parties and cooking in rounds. Like flights of tapas or beer. The Thaan charcoal fits perfectly as was easy to use with a charcoal chimney. Congratulations on a brilliantly designed product, I would buy again.
