VSN ¼ inch Pedal Z Type Pedal Couplers
These pedal couplers are awesome! They plug into guitar pedals cleanly and securely! This means good connections! These are “Z” couplers which makes them easy to slide your pedals around until they are set securely on your Velcro pedal board. The offset Z shape make in easy to connect pedals that might not line up correctly using the normal straight ¼ inch pedal connectors. However, they will not work with pedals that have the connections at the head of the pedal instead of the sides. If your pedal connections are on the side of your pedals, make your life easier and use these instead.

Works great, saves space
These are so good for saving space. Since they’re not straight, you can use them to connect pedals by different manufacturers. the best part is that most of my pedals ended up in a pretty straight line and the one that is sticking out is my most used pedal so having it farther helps me hit it more accurately

They do what they say they do, mostly.
I have been a user of 6 inch jumpers for the longest time (like since the eighties). Eventually, they always fail because of the way you have to bend them up to get them the way you want them. These couplers work well for most effects pedals that have the ins and outs on the sides. If you have any with the ins and outs on the top, you're out of luck and have to continue with the jumpers. The oddest thing I discovered is just how offset the jacks are from one pedal to the next. For the most part, they're close enough for these couplers to work. But, in a few cases, the height of the effect box is so different that the couplers still don't work. The taller pedal will force the couplers to lift the shorter pedal off of the pedal board. Potentially causing the coupler to break. Which could leave you with a piece of the couplers stuck in the pedal and forcing you back to those jumpers again. If all of your pedals are roughly the same height they'll work for you. If like me, you have a Vox straight 6 and a bunch of pedals with the jacks on the top, maybe not so much. In the photos, I have put together four pedals that do work with the couplers and shown the height difference between two of my other pedals.

VERY Usefull, However...
These allow you to get your pedals closer together than any other cable or connector I know of.However, I just wish they made several sizes, because they don't often work with certain pedals, especially when you use them as a stereo setup. If they would just make them with 3 or 4 different casing diameters (small, medium, large) that would allow more pedal size choices.....They would be the perfect "side to side" pedal connectors at that point.

Most compact pedal coupler
These are my most preferred coupler for pedals, especially on compact boards where space is at a premium. There are times when I want more of a gap (like for a wah pedal) and will use a straight coupler, or a pedal has in/out connections on the back rather than the sides (like a 10 band EQ) requiring a flexible short cord, but I use these more than any other design. With compact pedals, I've been able to squeeze in one additional unit, 6 instead of 5, due to space savings. The fact that the plugs are offset from each other allows me some leeway whether the pedals might line up evenly or one further back from another. For instance, I might want to leave reverb on all the time while turning a chorus or delay on or off, so this lets me set that reverb back just a bit, where I won't accidentally hit the switch when operating its neighbor. I've used these for years, never had one fail, and as my pedal collection has grown and I've put together a few mini-boards for different practices or gigs, these have been my choice for new connectors.
