Perfect jig
Very pleased another jig for my tormek grinder looking forward to using it will make knive sharpening easier

Definite improvement on previous version of jig
So if you have gone to the expense of buying a Tormek sharpening wheel it is worth making sure you hold the knife you are sharpening correctly. This is definitely better than the earlier version of the jig which tended to create different sharpening angles on each side of the knife (I know some Japanese knives are made that way but for most knives you want the same angle)

Quality product
Quality product that is in my view a little over priced, however having said that; it is way better than the cheap knockoffs. Excellent communication from the Seller: RDGTOOLS, they shipped the item super fast and it was well packed, would highly recommend RDGTOOLS and will purchase from them again in the future. Bottom line: do not waste your money on cheap imitations, buy the original.

Inferior to the old style ones!
These are vastly inferior to the old style ones, the support area is smaller making stable grinding much harder, and it’s not adjustable, very disappointing from Tormek!

You CAN sharpen folding and small paring knives 🥲
For small knives and low sharpening angles, use the jig cavity that’s closest to the blade. It gives much better control and lets you reach shallow angles without having to raise the support rod excessively.It’s definitely pricey, but I couldn’t find any cheaper alternatives that give the same clean, even-looking edge and bevel. Worth it if you just want good, consistent results without fuss.

Tormek tools cost more because they are worth more. They are worth more because they work better.

Dieser Halter zum Schleifen von Küchenmessern auf der Nassschleifmaschine reicht an sich für normale Küchenmesser. Ich möchte den KJ-45 nicht mit anderen Produkten vergleichen. Hier gibt es wirklich nichts zu meckern. Na ja der Preis tut schon etwas weh. Beim Schleifen vergisst man es aber schnell.
