It comes off
I have a new LT two Corvette and when you open the door and try to get out if your foot touches the lower door it scratches the door, that should not happenSo there's 3M tape is a lifesaver. It's clearer easy to apply and protect the door from tennis shoes, regular shoes, etc.. that's the only thing wrong with this beautiful car

Protects against rock dings and scratches.
I've used this on the bottom few inches of cars/SUVs to give some protection from rock dings and scratches. Even just the sand and mud thrown up by tires will wear through the paint if you drive on gravel or sand on a regular basis. A big hit from a rock will still obviously damage the pain and possibly metal, but small pieces of gravel won't. This is a lot cheaper than rust repair and pain. It stays on well without peeling even after exposure to sun, cold, and a lot of rain.

How to install like a champ.
Used on my bike frame no issues. 1. You need to get a water sprayer. 2. Fill water sprayer with 70% isopropyl alchohol and water (three to one mix). 3. Spray the bike frame where you will place the sticker and the sticky side of the film. 4. Place the film on and squeeze out the air bubbles with the tool or your fingers. 5. Use some paper towels to dry off. If needed, use a needle to get any tiny air bubbles out. (I didn't need to do this)Anyone giving this product a bad review didn't bother to look up any of the myriad of videos online that show you how to do this.

Finish is not top quality, but good for protection
The surface of this film is not as gloss and smooth as I could like. In the sunlight the film almost looks dirty. Compared to a professional wrap (in my case, on a bicycle using Ridewrap), the finish is just not there.

Good
Worked out well. You can't even see it after installed which is what I wanted. I used it for my sill plates for the scuffing. It wasn't as tacky as I expected from a 3M product. I used soapy water on the sill plate and the product itself. I'll just spray it on the product when I do the other side because it was too slippery
