I have not used it much to this point but seems suited for the intended purpose. Metal and durable. Probably one of those tools that will sit in your box waiting for that very special purpose. For the price it was worth getting for that future "special need".

Very well made. All metal construction and having wing nuts instead of screws to tighten the angles down is perfect. Very accurate and easy to use. Great for crafters, construction and architecture.

I have a stainless and an aluminum version. Buy the aluminum version. It is much stiffer and robust.

Finally! a really great version of this tool. The stainless steel is nice and thick, it slides really smoothly, and when you tighten up the thumbscrews, it's locked! The ruler marking is also really engraved, not just painted on. This is probably one of the best versions of this tool out there. Thanks so much!

Handy tool, I got two. My son (in construction business) loves his too! Much better than the cheaper plastic ones!

When you need a angle-izer template this is great to have. Now I can do rough/finish carpentry, trim work and decks professionally and most recently used it building an octagonal treehouse. Stainless steel one is far more better than plastic one I bought before, more durable, the knobs are sturdy.

Nice for making patterns/templates way better than the cheap plastic ones, which o also have. Would recommend.

It's very well made and sturdy and I think will be very useful. It's a Christmas gift for my son-in-law who grew up with parents who were in construction, so I think it will be quite useful to/for him. It's something he doesn't have anyway!
