Great. Convenient for travel.
Dry oatmeal stores in a bag inside. Or, noodles or any other quick food that can be reconstituted via microwave. All you need is water and the microwave. Easy cleaning. Even can eat directly from the bowl.

Only bad thing about this is the color
I really hate the color red. But that is the only negative thing about this pot. I owned one years ago and got rid of it in a fit of plastic hating. I decided to use only glass. Well, heck. Glass is so dang heavy. You have to worry about dropping and breaking it. It’s better for the environment, but a pain to use. I had to carry my lunch bag with 2 hands and all that clanging was making me deaf. But this little pot is WONDERFUL! It comes with instructions on how to cook rice, pasta, oatmeal, etc. in this pot. I use it for practically everything. Canned soups, ramen, rice, pasta, veggies. I love the lid which doubles as a strainer. One thing I love to microwave is mashed potatoes. Cube the potatoes and cover with water. Cook them for about 10 minutes (you’ll learn soon how long to cook for how big you cube the potatoes). Use the lid to drain the water. Mash right in the pot. I use 1-2 potatoes for myself.I travel for work and live in hotels a lot. With a fridge and microwave, you can do a lot. This little pot helps me cook a ton of things in the microwave. I love it and will never give it up, even if they prove that plastic gives you anal warts and dementia.

Pasta made easy!
This has been great for pasta in my microwave. It even fits in my tiny 700 watt microwave (you will need to adjust the amount of time for 700 watt microwaves.) The lid is very handy for draining water too! I do recommend using pot holders when removing it from the microwave..It is pretty good at cooking frozen vegetables although I am not sure they are really streamed this way as the vegetables are sitting in water and not above it. I wish it had an insert for streaming vegetables so they would be above the water. I have not tried rice yet.I like that it has two handles and not one long one so that it can centered in the microwave. Overall, simple and easy.

MULTI BOILER REPLACES MULTI POT AND BEATS IT BY A MILE
The Nordic Ware MULTI BOILER is the new or UPDATED VERSION OF THE MULTI POT, which was discontinued a few months ago. The old style had only one handle, which made it difficult to center in the microwave and even more difficult to drain, as there was only one handle to hold the lid against when pouring/draining.This NEW version has TWO HANDLES, two little grips, with one on either side of the pot, which directly align to the lid's two handles. The lid is identical to the old multi pot lid and is designed to function the same way. This version can be PERFECTLY CENTERED in the microwave for EVEN HEATING and is designed for TWO HANDED DRAINING like a lot of the new microwave pasta cookers. On this new version, because of the two convenient grips that match up to the lid's grips, you can actually turn the pot fully upside-down, if needed. This is a brilliant update to an already wonderful product. I've been asking for this about once a year for several years (as have so many others) and Nordic Ware finally came through. We now have a multi pot, called the mutli boiler, that was designed for two handed use, centering in the microwave, pasta cooking and draining, but, on top of all that, can also be placed on the edge of the turn table, when needed, allowing for the two handles to parallel the edge of the turntable for easy removal, without the hassle of having to turn the long handle inward and then reach around to grab it or worry about the handle hitting the side of a too small microwave. They still recommend using pot holders to remove this from your microwave, as with the previous version. As always, this is a BPA FREE plastic item designed for MICROWAVE use. It can be washed in the dishwasher on the top rack, but may warp or discolor from modern heated dishwashers, so, the best cleaning method is a good old fashioned hand-washing, just like the old multi pot.P.S. I have no idea why they felt the need to change the name but, again, this is the replacement for the multi pot. THE MULTI BOILER is the REPLACEMENT for the MULTI POT which has been discontinued.

SO EASY
I wanted this to make pasta and steam veggies and I needed it to fit in a small microwave. I can't be any happier with this product. I have to eat gluten free and gluten free pasta is special, it is hard to cook it just right, with this, if you follow the instructions in the pamphlet, it comes out al dente, just perfect. The veggies also cook to perfection. The lid supposedly prevents boil-overs but I did experience a little bit of that, some water and one small noodle on the microwave plate, but I have used it several times and that has only happened once.

Great product
I was seeking a microwave bowl that I could use for preparing oatmeal and soup. It is excellent and the lid is vented to prevent spillovers. It is the perfect size for one or two portions of anything. It has very smooth sides so it is easy to clean.

Does not work for oatmeal
Bought this in hopes it would allow me to microwave traditional oats, but it still expands and over flows from bowl in microwave. I later purchased “anchor hocking 2 quart glass batter mixing bowl” and this solved my problem. Finally able to microwave oats or coaches oats with no volcano overflow. This Nordic ware bowl is great, just too small. This would likely be great for steaming frozen vegetables.

How much they have gone up in price.
I really like the pot a lot, they are very durable and just the right size for me, but I think asking $31.47 is asking a little too much. I bought two at two separate times and at the time they were $9.97 each. Last one I bought was in June 2022. I can understand them going up a bit in price, but not this much.

Muy buen utencilio
Efectivamente, no se calienta en el horno de microondas el recipiente, resulta muy práctica la tapa que evita derrames, facilita mucho la prepación de las sopas nodolls. Se puede usar para cocinar, servir y guardar la sopa.
