Great product saves me tons of money
I really like this product because I am able to make cold brew coffee in it. I usually put about 160 g of course ground coffee inside the coffee filter basket. I also put about 7 1/3 cup of filtered water inside the pitcher. I then let it sit in the refrigerator sealed up tight in the container for 24 hours and it comes out great. I’ve had a little bit of sediment at the bottom of the pitcher at first but that was because I was not grinding the beans course enough and I was shaking it too vigorously. I find that it still brews great just every once in a while, tilting it upside down and right side up a few times every couple of hours. All in all I think it’s a great product and I’m planning on buying another one so that I can have one brewing while the other one is all ready to drink.

Hmmm cold leftover coffee taste and smell...
I don't think this was something I wanted. I followed the instructions to make coffee, I even saw videos for different coffee brews but honestly.. it just tastes the same. The first time I shook the bottle to mix the coffee grounds and kept shaking a couple of times through the day. But half of my coffee grounds were dried inside the bottle when I removed the filter the next day. Th second time, I halved the quantity but it just doesn't taste as good. To me it just tastes like left over cold coffee from a coffee pot. The handle absorbed the smells from the fridge as well. Or it could have been the handle rubber/silicone chemicals? Also, it will leak when you shake it... No matter how hard you tighten it, mine kept leaking by the lid for some reason. Overall, great idea... If you know what you are doing. I bought this to replace my $20 coffee pot... But after these two times making cold brew coffee, I think that's going to be my last time and I'm just going to go back to doing the old fashioned way.

Not For Me
I bought this because I use cold brew for my chocolte protein powder shake. Cold brew, at best is about $4.75 on sale for 48 ounces; $5.50-$6 every day price. This seemed like a cheaper alternative. At first blush this seems cheaply made. When full the handle flexes as if it might break- an uncomfortable feeling. It is rather a PITA (pain in the a**) to use. I stood the filter assembly with its extension in a tall glass for filling. The process seems cumbersome and requires attention so as not to spill coffee all over the counter. Additionally it's advertised as a 2 quart maker. Imagine my surprise when the instructions say add 7 cups of water...ah folks, that's not 2 quarts. Not to mention that once I put the 2 cups of coffee into the filter basket and tried to insert the filter basket into the carafe I was forced to dump out about a cup of water to prevent overflow. So it's really a 6 cup brewer. And it takes 2 cups of ground coffee. I use Walmart 100% Arabica French roast, $20 for 2 pounds. So now I am making 48 ounces, $4 for coffee, the inconvenience, and I have 24 hours until the taste test. If it is somehow super- amazing I will update my review. My takeaway thus far is that Califa Farms Cold Brew- which offers at least four options, on sale for $4.75 is worth the convenience (no assembly OR cleanup or waiting) is more bang for the buck. I will almost certainly be returning this.

Absolutely Awesome
This cold brew coffee pitcher is AWESOME. I can only guess that reviewers who have issues didn’t read the included instruction booklet. Which I admit- I didn’t at first either but was able to remedy the issues I had. Overall if you love cold brew and are looking for a good zero-waste device that you can use over & over this is it! Important things to remember - 2 Cups of COARSE ground coffee. Yes the mesh is fine and I don’t think fine grounds would leak through it, but they will escape when you shake / swirl the pitcher. In the US, prior to COVID you could ground coffee beans in most grocery stores specifically to Coarse or “for French Press.” The only brand I could find in my Kroger store that was coarse ground is Gevalia their Guatemala variety. * to easily add this 2 cups to the infuser the Ball mason jar funnel fits perfectly. Otherwise you’ll have to go spoonful by spoonful - Fill with 7 cups of water BEFORE you put the infuser back in. Some reviewers complain they have to measure the water. But you could do it once and then put a mark on the pitcher to see where you filled it to. It’s an extra step but I don’t think it’s worth taking a star away -Once pitcher is filled with water, twist the infuser into the cap FIRST. Then lower the infuser by the cap into the pitcher. If you don’t twist the infuser into the cap first the grounds will float out. Twist cap close - Swirl the pitcher and let it sit for 12-36 hours. This makes a cold brew concentrate the longer you let it sit with the grounds in it. So be sure to add water to taste to the concentrate when you go to drink. Unless you like super strong brew. * the pitcher was too tall to fit in my main fridge standing, but fits PERFECT on my door. It would also fit on its side and the the cap does not leak at all.

great for ice coffee
I am not much of a coffee drinker but when I am, I prefer cold coffee. This has made it easy to make cold coffee at home and to get me to not stop at Starbucks everyday before work. My only complaint is that the coffee grounds do tend to rise in the diffuser so sometimes the top of the grounds don't wet with the water. Other than that one issue it works perfectly for my coffee needs.
