They work perfectly. On pc they register as PS3 controllers in Steam. One of my PS2 controllers might be broken though as it seems if I plug one in the dongle disconnects. Leading me to believe something is shorting out on the controller and not the adapter. Good stuff for 10 bucks.

*EDIT* I have since been able to research how to get the whammy to work! All I did was install DSHidMini and remap the controls since the driver now forces clone hero to recognize my controller as if it was an Xbox controller so now the strum and whammy are no longer being registered as the same thing and everything works as intended! I bought these for the sole purpose of playing clone hero and they work great out of the box with my red octane SG wired guitars! Not much latency from what i can tell so far, I was able to map all the controls immediately within clone hero and got tilt for star power to work (for my controllers specifically this works since the star power trigger is a physical mechanic and it registers it as a button, I can not attest to other types of controllers on that front) HOWEVER with the SG controllers the whammy will not work without an additional driver as the strum bar and whammy bar are registered as the same axis but from what I can tell it's a super easy fix to remap the controls via software like scptoolkit. I haven't gotten around to trying to make it work since the whammy doesn't effect me much being a casual player but I know it's possible to fix with the appropriate fiddling. All in all great option for casual players of clone hero that works well and is easy to set up.

Worked great for me to connect a PS2 dance mat to a Windows 11 PC running the PCSX2 emulator. No drivers needed, just plug it in.

I bought this to use for my two PS2 Guitar Hero SG's so I could play Clone Hero. After installing drivers from dshidmini Windows 10 recognized my guitar as a PS3 controller, as it should. I then used a third party controller mapping program, antimicro, to find out which buttons were mapped to the corresponding guitar buttons, and reassigned the values to buttons on the keyboard. Lastly, I went into Clone Hero's settings and changed all of the keyboard values to the ones I had just remapped, and deleted all of the controller values that were set as default by the game. Both of my SG's work fabulously with the first adapter I tried, but the second adapter was a dud. Windows correctly detects either controller I plug in as a PS3 controller but does not register any inputs from buttons being pressed. It really is a shame that both adapters aren't functional, as I purchased these to play Clone Hero co-op with my family. I sent a message to the seller about the issue, requesting a functional single adapter be sent to me, but haven't heard back. I am more than happy to update my review and give more stars if the seller works with me to correct this issue. However, if only half of product being sold works, I can only rate half the amount of stars. Update: The seller quickly responded and rectified the issue to the best of their ability.
