Standard Thru-Wall Skimmer

I am very happy with this purchase. I tried everywhere to find this Skimmer for a Doughboy pool I purchased in 1989. I was replacing the liner, and the old skimmer lid was cracked and faded, so I decided to replace the skimmer to. I wasn't sure what I was going to get exactly by reading the description of the skimmer but took a chance anyway. I was pleased to see the box contained everything needed (Gaskets, basket, lid, water flap, vacuum connection, and screws) to install the skimmer. Plus, a new eye inlet also. It was delivered on time as promised. I would purchase from this seller again.

This skimmer is what I needed but the skimmer bucket was too small for my pool. I had to return it because I needed the larger skimmer. Marks was very good at accommodating the return and was pleasant to work with.

Direct replacement for Doughboy skimmer. Only down side is it does not have a threaded outlet. So you have to use a hose.

it came broken had to install that way. We were having a party in 2 days. the cover does not stay on when people are in the pool because the water will knock it off. the plastic tab that holds it on was missing

With my pool being so old I was not sure that I would be able to find a thru- the- wall skimmer to fit. Was so happy to have found this one. My old skimmer was leaking and no matter what I tried to do to repair it it just wasn't enough. I didn't think it was possible to find another one. Searched, found and ordered this one. It was very easy to install. Quality product. Thank you Amazon for making it available!

Bought this to replace my old weather checked unit when replacing my liner. The new unit arrived very fast and was as described. Came with all the seals and parts for a whole unit. Was cheaper than trying to replace only a few parts on my old unit. No reason to believe this will not do its job and last for a long time. Great buy and money saver for a doughboy replacement skimmer.

Highly highly recommend if you need a replacement!! The details for the product were kind of vague but wow when we opened the box to our surprise not only did it have everything for the skimmer it also had everything to replace the return! Sooo...happy! If you need a skimmer for your above ground pool, but it you will be happy.

A decent replacement for the doughboy. But did not include any wall supports, so it just hangs off the wall cutout. It did not include the mounting screws to match. Because I had no screws of the proper size, I had to keep the old skimmer basket (which is about 2 inches set back for the wall support). I used the new faceplate and gaskets. I like the new gasket design.
