Works great, used in my garage to move tv box closer to the window to be able to pick up WiFi signal.

I needed longer HDMI runs but wanted to use my existing cables. These are perfect for turning my 6ft cables into 12!I haven't tried these couplers at HDMI 2.1 speeds as I have no 8k panels nor anything that supports 4k north of 60Hz. That said, they're fine with 2x 6ft cables running 4k @ 60Hz.

I use these type of couplers often in my line of work. HDMI cables need to be coupled and uncoupled for temporary setups or for TVs on a patio at a restaurant every day. These particular couplers are the best I've found so far. Good price, very good snug fit, and 100% reliability so far. I also like the blue color detail.EDIT:These promised better performance at first. Now, they are just like any other cheap coupler. 50% failure rate.

Hisense 72"U7; billions of cores but 1st gen amd processor, 32g mem, RX 5700 XT w 3 shot HDMIs, Benfei DP->HDMI adapter 6' w 5v/1a usb power, Adauxter 3' extension hdmi, coupler, same specs across all components; crossed fingers after living with a horrible anemic Sony 85" for too long: 165hz from windows to Hisense with zero issues, pic went from underwater to exploding with color and brightness. Nothing but trouble and sacrifices with earlier adapters ($7 to $100) and hdmi "high" speed cables, just 4k 60hz static Sony-pretend HDR.No idea about earc, but that's a DP issue; if it doesn't work it's not these cables/adapter.

I bought this pack of Cable Matters HDMI couplers to use with the connecting cable of my 8K VRROOM HDMI 2.1 Matrix so I can have a quick disconnect from my Sony A90K TV, which has it's ports in a inaccessible place (thanks Sony).I used X2 1M HDMI certified cables and put one of these coupleres on the end of the cable coming from the TV, now I can easily quick disconnect the HDMI Matrix when needed.I can confirm that 4K 120hz, VRR and HDR all work flawlessly with my set up. In my case I'm running an Xbox Series X and PS5 through the VRROOM matrix switch into my TV and AV receiver.Your results may vary, but just make sure to use actually certified cables and keep them as short as possible and like me, everything should work well for you.

Ich benutze die HDMI Kupplung um die Verbindung von der PS5 und die XBOX X an meinen OLED Monitor zu verlängern. Vorher hat ich von einem anderen Hersteller die Kupplung gehabt. Es gab ständig Aussetzer, Verbindung brach ab und kam nach 2 Sekunden. Mit dem Artikel hier passiert das nicht mehr. Kann ich nur empfehlen.
