This looked to be a great price and would cover the whole house. It was so easy to set up! The app walked through the whole thing and it just worked from day one. Now I have no bad signal spots and my internet is fast through my whole house.

Swapped this in to replace a patchy ISP router and the difference is night and day. Setup via the app took less than 10 minutes. Coverage across the house is now rock-solid — no dead zones, even through thick Victorian walls.Speeds are consistent, ping is low for gaming, and devices roam between rooms without dropping signal. The eero app is clean and gives full control, including parental filters, bandwidth checks, and firmware updates.If you want mesh Wi-Fi without headaches, this is a brilliant entry point. It just works — and keeps working.

Connection is super easy - replicates signal all over the house. I have a router that I turned the WiFi internally off so that I could benefit from the signal being boosted using the EERO 6+ with the 3 hubs dotted around the house. Easy to setup via the app and clear instructions and guidance throughout the process. I have UltraFast broadband which used to be 850mbps in 2 rooms of the house but shockingly bad (less than 50mbps) everywhere else despite clear line of sight to other rooms. Now I have consistent 400mbps in every corner of the house so am very pleased with the EERO 6+. Named the device the same as my normal Hub and used the same password as existing during setup and that allowed all devices to rejoin the network without having to enter new details on each. First and foremost I'm writing this review with a solid Internet speed right now so I'm very happy with the end product. I was using a PowerLine setup before moving across to this product as an alternative direction as my PowerLine connection kept dropping out at points due to the complex electrical signals they were relying on and the mesh setup wasn't perfect. By comparison, I found the Eero super easy to get setup - simply plug it in alongside the app and follow the instructions through - it does create a true mesh setup but I'm not 100% convinced by the claims of 420m2 for a 3 pack set - I've setup around 6 of them around my house (2 floors and half thr quoted 420m2!) to really ensure the speed doesn't drop in any corner. I think you can use it without the additional units but my 500mbs connection drops rapidly to 5-10mbs without these additional units and I'm now comfortably getting between 50-100mbs in every room of the house which is exactly what I wanted to achieve. They do act as a true mesh so it perfectly works walking round your house on your phone and not losing connection for example so from that perspective I'm very impressed. I have some hardwired ethernet cables across my garden to a room at the back of it and one really neat detail is you can basically connect one unit on either side here as well (I didn't quote these ones when I mentioned 6 indoor units to be clear!) and will automatically join them together in the mesh to really achieve great speeds out there with no issues at all. I've now got full home coverage and including across my garden buildings and loft which did become quite expensive with 3 sets purchased but the Internet powers everything in my home so it's not an area to cut corners (quite literally). It's worth noting that it's also still cheaper than many rival products so I've been impressed overall at what it does and although I've got units in most rooms now - they do look quite neat so I can't overly complain there!

I’ve always been a bit sceptical of mesh networks and the ease of installation. But eero changed that. Simple out of the box setup. Done and dusted in less than 15 mins and I now have excellent WiFi throughout the house and garden. WiFi cameras that previously had low signal are now full strength.Online instructions on how to make it work well with the typical UK Broadband providers weee easy to find and clear in their instructions tooOverall very impressed

Month 6 UpdateAfter each software update which is near fortnightly, the system stops for days on end. After dozens of reboots you get them up and running again, only for a day later for them to fail again. Shocking for an Amazon product. Reddit forums say the same story.Addendum: eero customer support contacted after the review, and gave tips and bottom line is I think I had too many eeros, as they interfere with eachotherMonth 12 updateEvery update which is every other week continues to knock out half the Eeros, the software often hangs and it takes hours to get them back on…3 hours in and still no success. Stuck on circular loops all the time. Completely frustrating. Allow us to opt out of these updates that always fail.Month 16 UpdateHere we go again, but it gets worse. Each new software update which are too frequent makes the system worse. The update process is clunkier than ever, the layout requires constant scrolling as important information is pushed out the way so they show trendy graphics that do nothing. I get out of range errors when the device is either 15 feet away, 10 feet away or next to the gateway eero. All that the same time I get full coverage on my IPad or phone. How is it possible for the eero not to be in range when every device can see the gateway eero?If you have 6 hours a month, every month trying to fix this junk, then you’ll be happy. This is not an installation issue it’s fundamentally flawed, and help desk tries to help, basically they say turn everything off and reinstall everything…well that’s fine if I have the time every month, but even then there’s no guarantee of success.
