Great pool solar blanket and reel cover
Fits perfectly over our pool solar cover (and reel) to keep it protected when the cover is not on the pool. Very durable and thick.

Perfect for our particular need
Edit: it's been a little over 2 years that we placed this overtop the run-in. And its still in perfect condition!!! No tears, no leaks, no nothing. I'm amazed at how well a tarp holds up, as long as you actually invest the money in buying a quality tarp. Since we paid the money for the this tarp, we decided to just let this tarp run its life course opposed to investing in the barn roof replacement. We maybe consider that once this tarp kicks the bucket but I honestly don't see that happening anytime soon. Definitely worth the buy if you're looking for a serious tarp.Weve been using this to cover the roof of a in-field 3 stall horse run. The roof was leaking in several places and the roof replacement would be quite costly opposed to using a tarp so we decided to give this a try until we get the funds up for a permanent roof fix. Anytime it would rain , the horses would cause the inside to get tracked up pretty good bc of the moist ground .One of the stalls had been converted into a chicken coop so we also desperately needed to keep a dry coop instead of it constantly getting moist when it rained.. And a couple of beams were starting to show the water damage to we didnt want this to progress. It was a bit of a struggle getting it all laid out with the huge size we had to order being its pretty heavy . but once we got it in place and strapped down...it has worked great. We placed bricks on top of the roof around the edges in various spots to prevent wind from being able to get underneath the tarp . and we have not had any issues. The barn has dramatically made a change. The smell, and general feel has did a complete 180. Everything is very dry now. The tarp has done the job and does not allow any more leaks to take place . the grommets have not tore. And during windy days we don't notice any flailing around anywhere in the tarp. I think tarps in general succumb to damage easier when they are used in such a setting where wind is able to get underneath them and put alot of strain on them. But for our needs...this had been a temporary lifesaver

Durability
Super thick material, used it to cover roof where damaged by fallen tree. Needs to protect roof from water due to constant, daily storms. Unfortunately insurance is slow to process.

Appears to be durable as advertised
Tarp is perfect for our uses and we're sure it will hold up to the elements. Our use is to surround the back half of a chicken run to protect it from rain currently and snow come winter.

Heavy duty - condition was great
I had a tree fall on my garage and had to cover it with the 40x60 tarp pending the repairs. I considered a couple cheap tarps from the big box store but just getting a couple of those would be about the same cost as this one, and still wouldn't be as thick in total. When it arrived, I managed to (almost) unfold it in the yard so I could roll/fold it a certain way to make it easier to pull over the roof, so I had a good chance to inspect it all on the ground. I didn't see any tears and all of the seams were in good shape. The grommets around the perimeter all looked good although I did see an "extra" grommet in there. Might have been one that didn't get crimped in properly and wound up in the package. I didn't see any missing grommets so it definitely wasn't one that popped out in shipping. After finally getting it on the roof (which took 3 people... this is HEAVY), I unrolled it and secured it around the side. It is THICK! Pulling it over the damaged section where I couldn't walk, I was worried it could snag on some damaged sections and tear but even though it kind of got stuck once or twice, I got it all the way over without any incident.I was really impressed by the fact that I pulled it using a rope attached to the middle grommet and I thought for sure it would tear through or something, but that grommet was solid. It was a little bent but still good. Any other cheap tarp would have torn for sure... I have cheap tarps like that for covering wood piles or whatever and they're like tissue paper.I did notice some of the brown coloring was a little scuffed when all was said and done. It's not artwork though, it's meant to be used, and there will be wear and tear, no big deal. When it's no longer needed, I'll fold this up and keep it around because there are still a lot of big trees around and you just never know. So I shouldn't need to buy it again but if I had to, I would, and I recommend it to anyone who has a need for a heavy duty tarp.
