Hi, i am going from cable tv to a smart tv in different room. please let me know where do i connect the transmitter to cable tv.

You need to connect the transmitter to an hdmi output, like your cable box. And connect the receiver to the hdmi input of the remote screen. You can’t connect the hdmi input of a tv to the hdmi input of the transmitter. To connect 2 tv’s to an hdmi output source like a cable box, the hdmi output of the box needs to be connected to the hdmi input of the transmitter. You then connect the local screen to the hdmi output on the transmitter to an hdmi input on the local screen. Then connect the hdmi output of the receiver to an hdmi input of the remote screen

Does this transmitter/receiver support hdcp?

The protocol version we support is up to HDCP1.4

Has anyone tried using this with a video camera? i’m looking for something to use for a video stream and don’t want to use an extremely long hdmi.

We use this to project our church service from the sound booth w/ a Sony video camera to our nursery about 150’ away. It has pretty decent latency… being in a totally separate room, you don’t even notice the latency. Great quality with a decent price.

Does not transmit sound. Tried re-pairing. Still does not work. What is the problem?

Try a different HDMI cables and be sure to double check that ALL HDMI cables are firmly and completely attached. You either have a bad HDMI cable, bad connection, or need to replace the transmitter as defective. The first pair I received would not connect AT ALL (picture or sound). I tried resetting (like you), no difference. Went through Amazon troubleshoot on phone, and they ended up sending me a new set. Plugged them in, and they worked fine instantly and continue to work perfectly six months later.
