If you're doing astrophotography like I am you may be concerned about adding weight ...
I used this to mount both a finder scope and a guidescope on my refractor. It's well made and worked perfectly. If you're doing astrophotography like I am you may be concerned about adding weight to your mount. This item came in at 7.4 oz on my kitchen scale.

It is made of metal and has a good weight to it
This is very handy to have. I have this on my 10'' dob and have my laser finder bracket and right-angle finderscope attached to it. It is made of metal and has a good weight to it, very sturdy. Really I cant find any faults with it, its a bit pricey, I think $30 is more fair, but there is nothing else out there at the moment like this.

Works Great. Not for heavy Finder Scopes.
This was mounted on my 8 inch Celestron telescope. It holds a red dot finder and a 90 degree finder scope for when looking more straight up. I tried a bigger and heavier finder scope and it was not stable and couldn't be aligned well. If your finders (or camera finder) is lightweight, it will hold OK.

Works great.
This was fairly expensive at the time I bought it, but it was worth it. I was having a very hard time finding DSO's in my 6 inch Dobsonian. I used this to mount a red dot finder and a Correct Image Right Angle Finder. The two work very well together, and this was easy to mount. Just slid right on my Orion DOB. No holes to drill or things to mess with. Highly recommend. One warning. Always check the tightness on the mount before you move the telescope. Mine did come loose once and the whole mount crashed to the floor. Luckily, both finderscopes were not damaged, but you need to be aware of this.

Easy way to mount two finders
I replaced the red dot on my dobsonian with a RACI scope to save myself from neck pain and wanted to use a green laser to make the initial movement, and RACI to fine tune. This bracket works perfectly to mount both, while still keeping clear of the focus tube.

Wrong Screws
Yep, can confirm the mounting bracket screws are too short and don't work. They don't even clear the bottom of the elevated bracket. I pulled two longer screws out of another piece of equipment and got lucky, not short only 2 screws. Will have to find those either in the shop or go to the store. Sturdy bracket and solid, but plan on getting your own screws to put it together.

Nice
Pretty nifty. I use both a red dot finder and a regular optical finder scope, and this lets me mount them simultaneously. Though between the mount and the two finders, you are adding enough weight to change the balance of the scope.

Solid and well-made
I bought this to mount a finder scope and DSLR on a 5" Mak-Cas telescope. It is solid and works well. I use a separate clamp to attach the DSLR, and the mount doesn't move. I have always thought that the single screw on the Orion clamps is not enough security, but I haven't really had much trouble with things coming loose. The only problem I experienced was in alignment of the finder scope. I had to add a small shim to get the alignment close enough to align the finder scope with its adjustment screws. It would be nice to provide some way to adjust the direction of the bracket or of the feet that fit on top.

E' praticamente indispensabile.

What a simple piece of equipment, and yet completely renovates the way I use my finders. Very solid, quite heavy, and stable as a rock. Again Orion prove they do things well.

Good quality made product. Require additional dovetail bracket to mount onto a Celestron Telescope.
