was having issue with my old cord which was failing to power my device. I needed a replacement right away before an upcoming trip. I received my new "USB Tip 20V 2.25A 45W AC Adapter Laptop Charger for Lenovo" pretty quickly. I was happy at the speed which I received it.I plugged it in to my laptop and found it worked perfectly. I have now used it for about 2 months and no issues so far. I have found that if for some reason the cord seems not be working then I just don't have it plugged in to the wall all the way. The other thing is if the cord going from the laptop to the actual ac adapter box is not securely plugged hen this can cause issues. Luckily, both are a quick fix. So I recommend you check those two issues before thinking the cord is faulty. I would recommend this cord to any Lenovo laptop user who has one of the model numbers mentioned. Best,Marvin :-]

Good working charger for a good price.

It fit my Lenovo ThinkPad E540

I was about empty on my battery charge, while away, and found I left the charger at home. With Prime, this unit arrived in two days and began charging my battery upon connection to the wall plug. Charged the battery in the "normal" amount of time. It does seem to run a bit warmer in the transformer brick, but for what I paid for it, I am not alarmed. I would buy it again. Great bang for the buck.

I needed a new power supply since the (permanently attached) cord was having issues and my Lenovo would not stay powered, it was constantly switching to battery and I kept having to jiggle the cord around. No problems with this replacement, everything is working again. This power supply does not get hot or anything, it's comparable to the OEM one as far as I can tell. No problems with this, hopefully it stays that way.

It was the right voltage I needed. It works great since I lost my original charger and not sure what size I needed the end of the cord that plugs into the laptop to be. Can use it on other laptops and devices with the same input voltage.

My decision to purchase this item was based on price as this brand was more affordable (~$10 cheaper) and I could afford to risk the purchase as the power cord I was using was still functioning but spotty reliability. It was original equipment with the laptop and this has not been a purchase I have had to make in the past. My obvious concerns were compatibility with a cheaper item. Result were no issues with compatibility and after giving my original cord another week of spotty reliability; I switched to using this full time. Not much else to be said except for the cool surprise I had ignored in the description and first 2-3 days of use. The power cord has a USB charging location. Began using for my iphone immediately. I dislike plugging my phone into my laptop and thus carry back and forth to work a separate power cord. It may not seem like much but I hate pulling out tangled cords from my backpack daily and whenever I use at home. Fantastic surprise, plus since using at least 3 visitors to my company have commented on the cord and how cool it is. Who knew a power cord could be cool!?! Have actually shared photos of this with family and friends since purchase.

The charger began to glitch out and intermittently stop charging straight out of the box. Absolutely do not buy this piece of junk because it can damage your device. Amazon needs to show the worst reviews first to prevent people from getting suckered into buying this.
