I think this is the perfect size to experience the beautiful-yet-haunting world that Nihei has created. So glad these came back in print! Review: Awesome all around - What a cover! I love it! If you enjoyed the art in the first three volumes, it's even more amazing this time around. Nihei continues to find ways to top himself. This is one of the best volumes in the series. It's an awesome ride from start to finish!

A Cyberpunk Miracle
A great continuation of Nihei’s work. His art continues to evolve, slowly getting cleaner and more precise as he gets bigger and more ambitious in his depiction of Kyrii’s acenscion.

Please add cinematic view to kindle version
This review is for the kindle version. I have the Master's Edition books in Japanese and I'm collecting the English versions as well AND I'm also purchasing them through kindle. The story and the quality of these books is 5 stars. My only gripe with this volume (vol.4) is that it doesn't have the cinematic reading function that the first 3 volumes have, where you can zoom in to each panel and transition between panels. It's great for this book because the layouts are very boxy and you don't end up missing some of the art like with other books. Anyway, I hope they update this and add that function. It's been useful reading it that way while I'm commuting on the train to work.

Nihei's classic work really moves forward in this volume. ...
Nihei's classic work really moves forward in this volume. The artwork and archetecture are superb and you get a bit more story. This will be a volume you want to sit and read in one go dur to the action but take the time to pick up on the little story and back story elements.

Moderna Day Nausicaa
author has a great imagination and the setting is excellent post apocolyptic. Pretty much everything by this author is A++ Aposimz, his latest english translation effort is also rated very high on my list. Reminds me of a modern day Nausicaa

Still good
Aged to perfection, like a good wine or whiskey, still the best manga I have read in 15 years. This is a must read and own series.

This is Nihei's best. Explore the city, a seemingly endless construct that constitutes entire planets, possibly even stars, within its megastructure. Told by the eyes of Killy, Cibo, and even Sanakan in this 4th entry. Killy's never-ending journey to discover the Net Terminal Gene, going from a trusting man who aids those around him, to guarded, cold, and distrusting. Having been used, betrayed, and failing to save several of those around in on his journeys... but Cibo is the only entity grounding his humanity in the here and now. But how long can that last? Can he continue to protect her while searching for the gene? What does Sanakan truly want, what is the true nature of the administration, safeguard? Who is p.cell, where did silicone life originate... and why are we destined to destroy one another? This uniquely singular world and setting from the imaginative artist and writer Nhei taps into his best aspects of creation. Setting, world, mystery... the plot is simple, characters have clear motives with supporting situations that explore them in quiet and reserved ways. This story is the perfect expression of Nihei's talents. No wonky teenage melodrama, no weird back half changes... it starts, journeys, and ends beautifully.
