Simply the best option available in 2024
This battery is on par with the original DS Lite battery. They both measure about 850mAh despite the original one being marked as 1000mAh. Test it yourself and you will see this to be true.

A poor battery replacement option
When purchasing this, please know that it will perform much worse than the original OEM battery. In game, full brightness, expect to get under 3 hours of battery life. My tests consistently got 2 hours and 40 minutes of playtime on a retail cartridge. Original battery boasted a minimum of 5 hours on max brightness. There are very few, if any, options available for the DS Lite, so it will be a challenge to source a good replacement.

People online said these are the best available for the Ds aftermarket. I found the life to be less but it's better than not having a battery. Kind of a niche market so I don't expect super good stuff. If you have some technical knowledge get a lipo and do the conversion yourself. That works the best by far
