Q: Can your salt licks be attached to trees

Yes. I have tied the Himalayan salt block to a cedar tree after deciding the fence post was a risk with barbwire so close. The cedar did not have a problem.

Q: Is this a natural block in the 10lb size or a cube, like the one shown of the cow?

It's a natural block with a hole in the middle. But I don't think it weighs 10lbs -- it's more like 8. Still best value I have found.

There is a 4 and 6 and 10 lbs the one I purchased was the 6 lbs one. There was a drop down box to choose the size you wanted.
