Please twke to mind that I am a gaget freak and gear slut. Love electronics and mostly my recording studio stuff. As you probably do to if reading thisSo first the bad. The price. It is over priced for a key board bot so is a BMW sports car as a car. So is protools HD compared to a lot of other audio programs.Not the good. I love it. But if your on a bidget do not feel you have to have this to make great audio. I just think its a super cool item. The loght up is great. The permanant short cuts are grear. I tead a review were some one seemed angry and said audio guys should learn all the ahort cuts. Well yes and we should all go to the gym everyday and eat right and stop drinking. But as a twenty year audio guy music composersence 1992, not sure if that math adds up, but they keep changing things and so I dont always keep up. And I charge one hundred per hour for sound design and music composition; i do at home and have two working rooms in a facility thet do rock and hip hop. About 80 hours a weeek. And we dont know all the short cuts. So im glad to have them. I do wish lotic worked more like protools or visa versa both have their place.It is very solid like an easy to olay telecaster. Also not super inovstive but has two usp ports. A lot of keyboards have left those off. Im excited to have that again.Have not found a dimmer control. Could see were this could come in handy. But it looks good. And is ballanced. And doesnt slide around.Can somone duplicate this for a lot less, yes and they will. For now im just happy to get the new gadget that will help these old eyes see and be more productive.

I love this keyboard- it's a bit of a splurge but it's built like a tank, impresses clients, and reminds you what your keycomms are when your brain is fried from mixing too long.

I have owned this keyboard for about 8 months. In that time I have had two key caps fall off, also the Caps Lock light fails to indicate from time to time. Having outfitted many studios with Logic Keyboards in the past (albeit different models) I am starting to think either quality/qc has gone downhill or this particular model is a dud.

As a professional audio engineer, I bought this keyboard to use with Pro Tools. It seems well-built, and worked great for 1 year. Then it died. I wrote to the manufacturer (Logic Keyboard) and they would not do anything for me because it was 2 months out of warranty. Really disappointing for "premium upgrade" to fail, and even more disappointing for the manufacturer to tell me to take a hike. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I've been using ProTools for more than 20 years but I have to bounce back and forth between software programs and even I sometimes forget simple shortcuts for some functions. 5 levels of brightness and a nice springy feel to the keys.

I am a professional that uses this daily on projects, and this is one of the best protools purposed keyboards.I have not experienced any of the problems or squeaky keys that I read about here in the reviews.I am glad I took the chance.

Very good product. At first I thought there was no Caps Lock key indicator, but turns out tp be a defect on my keyboard. Also after a while paint started peeling off on theh most used keys, like S (Save). Otherwise would be a 5 star product.

The backlight comes in handy in dim lit areas..very helpful.
