Predictable Charts, Grades K - 1

I have enjoyed using this with my kindergarten students. They like making their individual sentences and drawing pictures to match.

As an early childhood educator this strategy is a great early literacy building tool. I used this with my Kindergarten and transitional kindergarten students. My students overall literacy skills were more developed than those of my students prior to using predictable charts. The beauty of using predictable charts you are providing repeated readings, language development, drawing form a child's schema, development of phonological awareness and writing skills.
