I love this kit, it has everything you need to get started working with leather. I've already been using it with great results. I recommend it to anyone that wants to start working with leather. Very good quality of all the tools and a good price also.

Great for starters as advised. Are the tools professional quality? No but it's great for beginner projects and gives you enough tools to get by and invest in select improvements later. It's compact and zips away nicely for shelf storage. The thread is a little thick but matches the hole dies. If you're looking to start out this is great

It is... fine. A lot of the stuff in here is not the greatest quality, but that's to be expected at the price point. Perfect for if you're someone who is just dipping their toes in to see if leatherworking is something the really want to get into. A few things that are not here that you will need are a cutting mat, punching pad, a mallet or hammer or thwacker of some kind, and something that can be used as a stitching pony (I used a large hardback book smooshed between my thighs).Case: Nice, durable, a bit small, but easy to store.Sips, ruler, awl: GoodEdge beveler: maybe I'm dumb but I had ZERO luck with thisPunches: They are square rather than round, so take that into considerationNeedles: Im happy with these!Exacto: meh but it works.Thread: a lot of people prefer to wax their own thread but this comes pre-waxed. It is pretty thick, chuncky stuff. Haven't run into too many issues.

Pretty nice kit. really good for beginners. nothing was broken when i got it, and everything is alright quality. one needle broke but that was because of rough use. used it to make a hatchet sheath and it turned out great

Item was as described. Everything needed to work withleather except the leather. Great starter kit.

Most of the set is decent. The waxed thread is good and comes a nice variety of colors. The worst parts of the set are the needles and awls. They break incredibly easy, so you will probably need to replace them with some that are made with better quality metal at some point. Not a bad set for beginners at this price though.
