They seem to be of a good quality and sturdy to rough handle them while installing. Because they are made of a harder plastic, than other tubes, they might have harder time creating a 100% seal. If they leak, use old tire tube off your bicycle as a gasket and it will stop the leak. I cut about 1-2 inch piece, slipped it on the appliance before installing the tube and then slipped the tube over "new gasket". hand tighten the clamp and no leak at all.

Hose ruptured after less than 1 season of use. Luckily I caught it or my pump would have run dry. Refund was kind of a hassle since they would o ly refund for 1 because the other wasn’t broken - like I’m going to use the other one ever after on broke so quickly. Save yourself the hassle and skip this one.

I used these on my skimmer and they have been installed for less than 6 months. The fit is perfect. Its exactly what I needed. They have already split under the weight of the water. The other ones lasted years. These have been in operation for about 3 months.
