I never trust anything but a Fluke. Great form factor, nice little carry sheath.
Great tester for Electrical work, I typically use a 789 for instrumentation work, but this is way less bulky and cheaper and great for straight electrical work.

The Fluke T6-1000 Pro is an excellent tool for any electrician. The open-jaw design makes it easy to measure Current and Voltage. The large, easy-to-read display is great on job sites. It’s rugged, reliable, and built to handle tough work environments. Accurate and fast readings save me time every day. Definitely worth the investment — a must-have in my toolkit.

ideal everyday carry
I've trusted Fluke test gear all my working life and always will. Yes, they're expensive, but then how much do you value your life? They have instruments that are robust, very well made, and have all the features needed to carry out your work with full confidence. I just bought the T6 1000 PRO. It has everything the concerned spark needs. This will be my everyday carry. I have individual test gear for deeper measurements, such as very high/low current and insulation testing, but I don't use or need those every day. The T6 1000 PRO is the ideal instrument for regular daily carry, obviously, along with the proving unit
