How about this Calculator for my husband? He really likes it. He likes the big screen the larger buttons it don’t slide and it comes with a pen and also an extra battery. This is a very nice calculator and I do recommend it. I’m so glad I was able to find this online for a very reasonable price. I paid $15 for it.

If you want a basic desk calculator that works on battery and/or solar then this is for you. My previous one was solar only and I would have trouble seeing the display. This one has crisp black numbers on the display and has an elegant layout. Two batteries are included when only one is required. Also included is a nice fine point pen. The buttons are modestly pronounced and the display at the top is slightly angled for easy viewing. Unit shuts off after 5 minutes when not in use. It's light weight, easy to pick up, and can be held with one hand while punching in numbers with the other. The overall functionality is spot on. A great price, a great value, and a good buy.

Very nice calculator. It sits on my desk and stay in place as I compute on it. The numbers are large enough to be seen without glasses.

FYI. Without the AA battery installed, the calculator will only display 6 digits. With the AA battery installed, the calculator will display all 12 digits. Maybe outside in the daylight, or sitting out on the counter inside the house, it will charge and will display all 12 digits. I don't know. I had kept it in a drawer, out of the daylight, and when I tried to use it, (without a battery in it), I only had 6 digits maximum in the display. I put a battery in it and it works perfectly. Probably without a battery in it, you will need to keep it out on the counter in the daylight to keep it charged?? Long story short, put a AA battery in the thing and it will display all 12 digits and work just fine.

This little calculator is very simple to use and is handy for a desk. It is also small enough to throw in a briefcase if needed. The price is right for such a handy device.
