Great product.
This thing is a game changer. I was excited to get a sprayer but quickly realized spraying in a house is rarely an option. So i got this roller. I get almost no drips. Like maybe 3-4 little drips 1/3 of the size of a dime if i paint an entire room! I mean thats hard to beat. And one fill of the tube will paint the majority of 15 foot of wall give or take a foot or 2. And it works flawlessly. And the special roller covers you buy for this are cheap. Like $4 each here on Amazon. No downside to this little baby. I think it is pretty straight forward to clean it afterwards. And breaks down a little if you are packing it away in a truck or car. People that give a negative review are doing something wrong or using too thin a paint or something. You do have to clean it well after every use and put Vaseline on the 2 or 3 rubber parts so they dont dry and crack. But if you do that you will paint like a pro. The only thing is you will go thru some paint. Rollers in general suck up a lot of paint and this soaks up that much more. So if you have 1 gallon and hope to paint 1 wall then you might just opt for a regular roller. But if you have 2 to 5 gallons and are painting an entire room it is an absolute necessity

Did our whole house, perfect for that use.
We spent a lot of time with drop cloths the first day. Totally unnecessary with this. Most of the drips from traditional painting come from pouring paint into the pan, loading the roller, etc. the reduced prep time makes this a no brainer. The clean up IS a pain. By the end of our house, there were dried chunks of paint inside the metal roller rod, which made the paint distribution uneven, but I would attribute that to the fact that we often wrapped the roller in a plastic bag and left it if we were not changing color, and as result it often went three days without being cleaned. If you were really religious about cleaning it, Iโm sure that wouldnโt happen, but thoroughly cleaning this takes at least an hour. all that being said, I still give this a five star review, because realistically the cost is only about $10-$15 more than you would pay for traditional roller pieces, and if youโre only doing one house (i.e., you are not a professional painter who intends to use this every day for a year ) then I think you can justify this and throw it away when youโre done. After you get the hang of it, this is substantially faster than traditional dip, painting, much less messy. I would not recommend it for someone who is just doing one or two walls, but for someone who intends to do a large DIY project like painting their whole house, this is a no-brainer.

Whoever designed this has never seen paint before
This is by far the worst designed product Iโve ever bought. Not just paint product, general product. It sounds like a cool idea, but the mechanism for filling this is just like filling a syringe. You pull the plunger back to suck up paint. Except there isnโt a good seal at the end of the plunger, so now the entire length of the plunger is covered in paint and dripping as you load and start painting. Additionally, it pulls more air than it does paint. I never could fully fill the thing after having painted one full 11x14 ft bedroom with it. Itโs also quite heavy which gets tiring fast. The longer I used it, the more I disliked it. Then I went to clean it and became fully enraged with it. I did the bucket of water as per instructions but when I went to take apart all the pieces to wash them individually, I got more paint on my kitchen floor than on the bedroom walls I painted. Not only did I waste all that paint, I made a huge messs. It took me twice as long to clean the product and my kitchen as it did to paint a single coat. Please, please do not waste your money on this awful thing.

Paint a room in 20 minutes
I have been using Wagner paint sticks for years. So when this new paint stick came I was a little hesitant because of the aligner was made out of foam and not plastic. Also there was no splash guard. There was just a tube to draw the paint from the can. No lid for the can. However it was easy to draw up the paint into the can and splashing was really no issue. I was very surprised how easy this was to use and clean up. Easier to use than the prior paint sticks I used. I would definitely use this again

Works great but plastic parts donโt last
This had a learning curve to get going, but then I found it extremely useful. Unfortunately, on my second use while cleaning it, I broke the plastic clip for the filler mount. Cleaning is a chore, but I would say the time saved painting outweighs the time added for cleaning.

I love this paint stick!
This is the 3rd incarnation of the paint stick I have owned spanning 25 years. The first was the original paint stick, a gift from a friend who loaned it to me, then gave it to me because she was never painting a room again. I was in love, no more splatter when painting, just pulling the paint up into the handle and pushing in when I needed more paint. Its gaskets and filler port wore out. I then bought a new paint stick and used it until the filler port was stiff and wouldnโt hold a seal to draw up paint. Here I am at my 3rd incarnation and boy is it an improvement. The ratchet handle makes moving paint to the roller so easy. The filler port comes apart so all the paint can be cleaned out! This is not a weak point anymore. The directions for cleaning really helpedโit was always a bugger to clean but with the instructions itโs a lot easier. The roller assembly is still a BUGGER & messy to clean, probably because I try to get all the excess paint back in the can and not flushed out on the ground. The roller assembly has both an outside that holds paint as all rollers do AND an inside that has a reservoir of paint. BUT even though clean up (of the roller assembly) is messy, I highly recommend this paint stick.

Not Worth It
I got this roller because I have a stairwell I needed to paint and I was hoping this would be easier and less messy. Plus, I wouldnโt need a separate extender pole. Unfortunately, Itโs not as long as a normal extender pole so Iโll probably need to buy a traditional roller and pole anyway, but it also seems like it uses a lot of paint. Especially, when I first started using it. I filled the handle almost to the top, pushed all that paint into the roller and it was still going on patchy and uneven with these little dots everywhere from the holes in the roller where the paint comes out. It wasnโt until another second full handle of paint that it started going on a little more evenly. Maybe if you use a paint tray to get it started but itโs too wide for a standard paint tray you usually use with paint rollers. My hardware store didnโt have a wider one either. Between having to go over the same spots so many more times and the added weight of the roller itself, it wore me out. Iโve done about coats on one wall of my bedroom and I need a break. I sprung for the good paint but no white paint is going to cover navy blue in less than 3 coats but with this roller, itโs probably going to take more than that. I will say that it is less messy than a traditional roller though. Probably, itโs only saving grace and Iโm not even sure if itโs worth it. I would probably be less tired just doing more prep and clean up.

Omg I Am so in love with mine
Oh where to start with this one. Our son told us about this is i am in love. We are in the process of remodeling and painting our whole house. It is so easy to fill (without the mess) then I go and paint almost a whole wall before I have to refill again. Not a constant bending up and down. Clean up is a little time consuming but considering all the time you just saved from getting that room painted its worth it

Saves time and mess
Absolutely love this thing it has made painting a breeze and Iโve had no drops to clean up. Highly recommend. Note they have a smaller version for edging and cutting but it is trash.

Bunk
This thing makes painting take more time, not less. Paint doesn't come out evenly along length of roller. Total pita to use.
