Aqua Optima by LAICA Evolve+ 12 Water Filters, Reduce Limescale, Fits Brita

After using Brita filters in my kettle and these in an Aqua Optima Liscia water jug, found these filters to be superior. Amazed I no longer have a kettle which needs regularly descaling, used since November 2025 and now June 2026, no limescale whatsoever. Saved a fortune in descalers. I only use the filter in the jug, as I was getting through 2 different brands a month and my Brita kettle, now fills easier without the filter holder inside. The Evolve+ filters the water quickly and it’s beautifully crystal clear. These filters attach easily, with the correct alignment positioning and a firm hand. You can’t use an aftermarket filter with their water jug, as you can do with the drop in ones, due to the attachment. More economical to buy a dozen pack. Pleased I can drink better quality water, using these good quality water filters. Long may they be produced 🤞

Very happy with this .Water flows through fast when topped up and tastes good, no funny tastes as such .Alsobtried this initially as price is good ,lot less than brita and in my opinion no actual difference .Also very easy to install ,bayonet footing as O have the Aqua Optima jug also .

I’ve been using the Aqua Optima Evolve+ Water Filter Cartridges for a few weeks now, and I’m really impressed with how they’ve improved the taste of my water. I was looking for a more affordable option than some of the bigger brands, and these have delivered! Here’s my review: Pros: Improved Water Taste: The biggest difference I’ve noticed is the taste of my water. It’s much fresher and cleaner after filtering with these cartridges. I can really tell the difference, especially when I drink water directly from the tap. Long-Lasting: Each cartridge lasts for about a month, which is decent for the price. I’ve found they last just as long (if not longer) than some of the more expensive brands I’ve tried in the past. Easy to Install: The cartridges are simple to install and fit well with my Aqua Optima filter jug. No complicated setup required—just pop them in and you’re good to go. Affordable: Compared to some other water filter brands, these are a great value. You get good quality at a much more reasonable price, making them a budget-friendly option for anyone who uses a water filter regularly. Reduces Limescale: Since I live in an area with hard water, I’ve noticed a reduction in limescale build-up in my kettle and on other appliances. It’s a nice bonus alongside cleaner-tasting water. Cons: Cartridges Are Slightly Larger Than Expected: The cartridges are a bit bulkier than some other brands I’ve used, so they take up more space in the filter jug. It’s not a huge issue, but it does make the jug a bit harder to store in the fridge. Can Have a Mild Aftertaste: While the water tastes great overall, I’ve noticed a slight aftertaste from time to time, especially if the cartridge has been in use for a while. It’s not overwhelming, but it’s something to keep in mind. Not Compatible with All Filters: These cartridges are designed for Aqua Optima filters, so if you have a different brand, they won’t fit. Make sure you check compatibility before purchasing. Overall: The Aqua Optima Evolve+ Water Filter Cartridges offer great value for the price. They significantly improve the taste of my water, are easy to install, and last for a decent amount of time. I have had a couple of these filters before (not from Amazon, but same filter) and was initially not sure about them due to very slow water flow, until I worked out how to use them properly in my Brita filter. Once I worked out how to use them properly, they seemed to do a very good job. Water flow is reasonable, scale is not a problem. I only recently went back to an original Brita filter, as I ran out of these Aqua Optima ones and had a spare Brita filter in the cupboard, however I now realize that the Brita filters don't last very long (my lovely glass kettle got all scaled up after a couple of weeks back on the Brita) and I think I will keep using these Aqua Optima ones from now on, they keep my kettle looking sparking and the water tastes good and makes a great cup of tea/coffee. Seem to be on a par with Brita in terms of water quality. Considering the initial cost, plus how long they seem to last, they offer very good value for money. It was also an advantage that I was able to get these delivered same day as I had no spares in the cupboard and the previous filter (brita) had suddenly gone from working to giving me cloudly water almost overnight.

Repurchased. Very good quality filters for sensible price.

Utilizzo da anni una caraffa Brita che funziona con i filtri Maxtra Pro e qualche tempo fa ho deciso di provare queste cartucce come alternativa agli originali. La prima cosa che ho verificato è stata la compatibilità e posso confermare che si inseriscono senza problemi nella mia caraffa, con un accoppiamento stabile e preciso grazie ad un adattatore presente nella scatola. Non ho la possibilità di valutare in modo oggettivo quanto calcare, cloro o altre sostanze vengano effettivamente rimosse, quindi non posso esprimermi sull'efficacia filtrante dal punto di vista tecnico. Quello che posso dire con certezza è che il miglioramento del gusto dell'acqua è immediatamente percepibile. L'acqua risulta più gradevole da bere, con un sapore più pulito e senza quel leggero retrogusto che si può avvertire utilizzando l'acqua direttamente dal rubinetto. Anche per tè e caffè ho notato un miglioramento apprezzabile sopratturto sul deposioto di calacare. La preparazione iniziale è semplice e, una volta attivate secondo le istruzioni, le cartucce funzionano regolarmente e filtrano molto velocemente. Altro punto molto positivo è il prezzo della confezione da 12 filtri, che consente un notevole risparmio rispetto a molte alternative più conosciute, soprattutto per chi utilizza la caraffa tutto l'anno. Nel complesso sono molto soddisfatta dell'acquisto: compatibilità perfetta con la mia caraffa Brita Maxtra Pro, miglioramento evidente del gusto dell'acqua e ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Per la mia esperienza meritano pienamente le 5 stelle, le ho già riacquistate.
