15QT Organic Perlite Horticultural Soil Amendment for Plants and Enhanced Drainage Enhanced

This product really works to help keep clay-rich soil from packing together and not holding water. I doubt that the quality and effectiveness of this product is any different from what places like H*me De*ot and Lo*es sell.

Just got it and haven't used it yet but this looks just like what I was looking for. I've used similar stuff before, but haven't been able to find this "crunchier" kind, with just the right texture I need, locally. So, . . . 5 stars!

Most, if not all, bags of perlite purchased at big box stores contain a lot of fine powder mixed in with the random larger sized stuff. This product is very uniform in size with minimal fine powder. Perfect for my uses.

I tissue thin plastic bag, not nearly as sturdy as an ordinary ziplock bag, all but guarantees you will spill some of the contents once you try to take the bag out of the cardboard box it comes in. Your best bet is to but the box on a large container before you open it.

The product itself seems to be good but to send it in a clear unmarked cheap plastic bag (see picture) makes me question whether I received the correct quantity.
