Difficult for using as underlay for curves straight from the roll- let it rest , level out, and then inscribe cut marks along the curve required.

Corking Cork Roll
Just what I expected, although I will have to do some magic to get it to lay flat in the curved sections of my train layout. Haven't glued it down yet, just a trial piece with PVA- worked OK.
