Parkour is not a sport.... sorry
Good book. Haven’t read it cover to cover. But I have just thumbed through it. One section is about international travel. Which I don’t plan to do so I just taped the pages together. The boom had a lot of resources to look up and I feel is a good starting point. For people wanting to get into this activity (I don’t refer to parkour as a sport.... sorry)

Comprehensive & packed with knowledge about everything parkour.
I don't think there is a better book out there that gives you such a comprehensive picture of what parkour is today from a cultural, historical, technical, educational and philosophical perspective. It's all in there yet written in an accessible way that can be easily digested. Whether you are a beginner just starting your parkour practice or an experienced traceur, or even just a fan who's fascinated by the discipline, you'll get a lot out of this book and you'll want to keep is as a constant source of reference.

A roadmap, a guide and a truly GREAT read
Pros: Whether you are just curious about the origins of parkour or parkour in general , whether you want to start training parkour or whether you have been training parkour for ten years like myself. This is a must read. This is a landmark compilation of parkour knowledge gathered by one of the most respected parkour minds today, one of the most talented athletes in the community. This work is years in the making and full of select picks from the early history of parkour through the YouTube age, follows early well known practitioners and passing along invaluable knowledge to the next generation of parkour athletes. Take your time with this one, it is worth every rabbit hole it takes you down.Cons: Not the most complete history of parkour, not the best beginners guide to parkour BUT that's not the point, this will point you in the direction you are seeking!

A must-read for serious parkour and free running practitioners - Max Henry knows his stuff and lives and breathes parkour daily
I've known and trained with Max since he was 16-17 years old. I consider Max Henry to be my friend and mentor - a truly good guy who practices his craft, and is always looking to improve and share his knowledge with others. This is a great book, extremely detailed and helpful for any serious parkour practitioner, no matter how skilled you are.Great job, Max. I highly encourage parkour / free runners to read this book - then PRACTICE what you learn!
