Pitching Machine

I've been using this machine for little league baseball practice (9-12yr old) for couple of weeks. I've used it from fly balls, grounders, and pitching. Overall, the machine works well and performs mostly as advertised. It does have a few flaws though:First, while the build quality of the machine is good, some of the screws used to adjust the type of balls used (baseball vs softball) were cheap, and had to be replaced after first use with high quality ones (less than $10 at Lowes/Home depot).Second, adjusting the machine to switch between baseball (juggs vs. real baseballs) vs. softball is confusing and cumbersome. It required a phone call to the vendor, and even that didn't fully address the question. The machine lacks on-the-fly fine tuning adjustments for juggs baseballs vs. real baseballs, so unless you bring tools to the field you won't be changing settings there. Overall, juggs balls are much more consistent than real baseballs. If you feed real baseballs and juggs with the same setting, you'll get inconsistent flights, which you can turn to your advantage when practicing grounders and fly balls (re: players don't know what to expect). For pitching, expect to use mostly juggs if you want consistent pitches.Third, the documentation is a bit confusing. Again, adjusting the machine required a call which didn't fully resolve the issue. The documentation/stickers on the machine do not line up with the holes actually drilled into the machine to adjust it.Lastly, note that the machine is heavy! (which means is well built, but it also means that it's cumbersome to carry around).Overall, I'm quite happy with the machine, it's a good practice tool, I do wish directions were clearer, and that it featured on-the-fly adjustments especially for easier/faster switching between real baseballs and juggs baseballs. Note, that you'll need to power the machine, so if your field doesn't have an outlet, you'll need to bring a 1000W+ power generator.

Amazing Pitching Machine!!
This is an amazing pitching machine. Very precise with dimple balls. Can hit 100 MPH no joke. Throws great curve balls and knuckle balls. The machine is 100pds but can be moved pretty easy using the wheel system attached. Takes some getting use to with wheel speeds and angle adjustments. Worth ever dime in my opinion.

Best bang for your buck
The machine is worth every penny. Especially being in hawaii the machine shipped for free all other sources i checked shipping a machine was over 200 just for shipping.

Great Pitching Machine
The machine was fairly simple to assemble out of the box. Works well with leather baseballs and dimple balls, but be aware that vinyl baseballs will leave a fair amount of residue on the wheels and likely affect performance long-term. The machine has real zip to it, and I don't doubt that it's capable of 95+! Mine arrived without the baseball-height legs, but a quick phone call to the seller fixed the problem.

Great for almost everything I need it for.
Iffy accuracy with machine balls much above 80mph. Could be wheel break in as I've experienced this with other machines. Up around 100mph we're seeing differences up, down, in, out of three foot at 54ft. So I recommend wearing a helmet. Even the best solid/pneumatic two wheel machines have inaccuracies until the wheels and machine balls are worn in. 80mph is great for BP anyways as a wheeled machine is for swing work more so than timing. I like to display hitting the 100mph pitches though. The kids really tune in when they see it.

Good price, but we had to replace the adjustment nuts and bolts because the threads stripped after only a few adjustments. It throws accurate pitches for low speeds. Over 70 mph the stitches can cause some wild pitches.
