Arrived today and I tried it out as soon as I washed it. I have little upper-body strength, so that might be why I couldn't squeeze out all the juice -- but I got enough to satisfy me. It did a good job of keeping pulp out of the juice (for the most part; there was some which seemed to me to be just enough to make the juice good). I do wonder if a metal or glass reamer might help a weakling like me get all the juice out of the orange.UPDATE: I've decided to give this to my much stronger daughter because she uses lemons and limes in her cooking. I'm going with an electric Black & Decker reamer. Even so, I do like this little gizmo. I found it easier to get the juice out today after having been told to use room-temperature oranges. That does help
