How does this compare to Deplin 15mg capsules?

Please buy your Deplin 15 from BDH. It is only $58/month and they will deliver a 90 day supply. I complained to my doctor about how expensive it was to buy this at the pharmacy and he said he’d send my script to BDH. If you go to the Deplin website they are listed at the bottom as providers. They are great to work with and call a week before your script needs to be refilled. I’ve found this to be the best methylated folic acid and since I need it I don’t want to mess around with anything, but what my doctor ordered.

5-MTHF L-Methylfolate goes by various names. What is most important is the "salt's" molecular form type (Calcium or Glucosamine) used in manufacture of the supplement. This determines two factors: immediate potency (bio-availability of the MTHF) and long-term potency or stability. When Calcium salt is used, about 72-79% of the bioactive MTHF is available immediately. When Glucosamine salt is used, half that amount is available (or 36-40%). Also, long-term stability using Calcium salt is much better, losing maybe 1-2% potency 12 months after it is manufactured . This is L- Methylfolate. A really good brand. It's been prescribed to me by my doc, and its an effective treatment especially for those with MTHFR gene mutations.
