This is because I always trim my wicks, before, during and after burning. * If you're trying to get extra time out of the candles, you will be able to tell if they're burning too fast, by checking to see if the glass is beginning to char or blacken.or if you see a bit of smoke, If this is happening the wick is too long. * If you're into getting the best burn out of candles I recommend that you get this wick trimmer: EricX Light Candle Wick Trimmer, Polished Stainless Steel Wick Trimmer * (I recycle) I use soap and a steel scrubber to get The leftover wax from the inside and a razor blade to remove the label. This candle is a slow burning candle, it last so long! I use it for my bubble baths. It is so cheap and I absolutely love it!! Usually candles burn through so fast and they are so expensive! But this one, oh man! I highly recommend it! You won’t be disappointed! The smell isn’t super strong or anything, so if you are wanting it for the smell, then I don’t think this would be the candle for you. It does smell good, it’s just not super strong. But if you want it for ambience then totally get this one.

We frequently have a Yankee Candle lit in the kitchen and this Apple Pumpkin candle is my favorite winter scent. It has a nice warm spicy and rich scent that makes the kitchen smell like something really good just came out of the oven. The candle burns cleanly and evenly when I use an Illuma-Lid Jar Topper and trim the wick to 1/8” after every burning. The Illuma-Lid is more than decorative – it helps keep heat inside the jar and prevents “tunneling” where the wick burns down through the center of the candle. Yankee Candles are a bargain. I used to buy inexpensive jar candles of uneven quality that didn’t last very long and frequently lost their scents. In comparison, Yankee Candles always keep their scent, burn evenly, and last a very long time. They may cost a little more, but turn out to be much more economical in the long run.

strong scent and burns all the way down...

Bought this candle when it was on sale. We loved the smell (we're into fall fragrances), but the candle arrived with the wax completely melted in a vertical orientation. We suspect it was lying on its side and shipped when the outside temperature was hot. Ended up chipping it into pieces and burning in that fashion. Amazon replaced, but it took a little bit of convincing!

I've purchased maybe 75 different large candle scents and this is definitely my number 1. It has a high throw to it but it is a warm scent and a great scent so it's great!

I impulse bought this candle wanting something autumn themed and I'm so glad that I did, It smells incredible. It smells like sweet cooked apple, pumpkin and spices but isn't sickly and over powering like I find a lot of food scented candles can be. Well worth buying the larger jars since they last so long and really look great as a centrepiece.

Smells good but the bottom glass was cracked.
