Ullman HTC-2 Pocket Size Telescoping Inspection Mirror with 2.25 inch Round Mirror and Black Handle & Devices S-2HD - 3-1/4 in. Diameter Round Replacement Telescoping Mirror Head.

A good LED flashlight and this mirror are the the primary "tools" that an aircraft QC inspector will carry with him/her all day, every day. I selected this 2-1/4" telescoping mirror to replace a similar Craftsman #009-41603 item. Upon inspecting the Ulman HTC-2 mirror, I find it generally identical to the Craftsman except that the machining of the "ball-ends" that fit in the clamp for the articulation feature are actually machined and polished smooth, and quite superior the the Craftsman effort. The result is that, when adjusting the articulation of the mirror, the movement is much smoother.There are other mirror diameters & lengths out there, and they each have their place, but the 2-1/4" diameter mirror with the 36" overall extended length will get you in between frames and stringers to check rivet bucktails and out to check cotter pins on flight controls. This mirror will take care of 99% of your hard-to-see situations. For general back-side viewing, I use a 3" x 6" piece of polycarbonate mirror stock from the lavatory shop {or, found here:  Polycarbonate Mirror Sheet +/-0.187" Tolerance 15/64" Thickness 12" Width x 12" Length Clear  ) as a handheld mirror and just keep it ready in my shirt pocket. Having the larger field of view really helps.

This item i have bought multiple times, its not perfect but it works as intended and is worth the price i paid for it, they occasionally fall and breaks, or gets run over by the car, but for the price i just buy another one, the main reason i keep buying it is because the mirror is true reflection of size and distance and that's important to me, i will not stop buying them, i have tried others in the past but they don't show true size or distance and some even shows curved, this one doesn't :)

so I got about thirty of these, i usally break them by sitting on them, dropping etc. but they are a great mirror.its a consumable for me, so every six months I will order a couple. I have no complaints on the mirror, I like them, I just end of breaking, because of me.i like these better than the craftman because of the 36 inch, my craftman is 24

I use this for multiple things around the house - initially to see if there were birds nesting in my gutters (so i didnt need to get too close while on a ladder) but have found many other uses for around the house and in teh engine bay of the car. for the price, its a great little addition to the toolbox

This is the second one I’ve bought in almost 3 years of everyday use. It’s been dropped and whacked against everything you can imagine and has held up very well. The long extension and swivel head make it my go to inspection mirror and I will continue to buy as needed.

Too small to be useful.

I am a dentist so I am used to seeing in small spaces with indirect vision (looking at things in a mirror). This gives me that same ability but on a larger scale. Great product and inexpensive too.

This is a perfect inspection mirror. It's the right size and isn't expensive. It fits behind cylinder heads to check for leaks, under radiator hoses, in dashes, etc. I love mine.

Most importantly, it feels very cheap. I am disappointed in this product. I decided to buy this product after reading a lot of good reviews on it, but you know they are not reliable opinions. I am a mechanic, and I don’t think I will use it for work. Maybe, I will dump it or give it to my colleague.

Ended up being the wrong size needed but that was hubbys fault. They were still great quality.
