HDMI Multi input
This worked great for connection Fire stick and DVD player to HDMI port. Has another connector if I should ever want to use a laptop with it as well.

It sometimes fails to switch
You can have 3 hdmi inputs going to your television. So far it fails to switch automatically once in a while, but well worth buying.

It Works!
Great HDMI Switch plug and play all the way for me on my application. I have three computers that were connected to one monitor. I had to go into the tv monitor menu to switch HDMIs (HASSLE) With the new VWRHAR HDMI Switch Just turn the computers on. And it Automatically Switch's I did not have to use the power cord (USB) That came with it. Even if I did have to use it, I would be able to plug it in to the USB on the tv monitor for Power. I just Bought a 3 computer share one mouse and keyboard switch. Now one keyboard and mouse (NOT 3) and now No more TV Menu to switch HDMIs GREAT STUFF!

Defective when delivered
Did not work as received. Power cable had a green LED light to indicate unit was powered, but the HDMI cable slots indicated no connection and switching from one cable to another showed no power light or connection. Repeated manual button switching changed nothing. I consider it non-working.

Works well but auto switching can depend on the connected device
I bought two of these and they work as designed. Occasionally it requires manually switching video sources if you have constant powered sources connected. For example, if your cable box or Fire stick goes to "sleep" rather than powering off, they may leave their HDMI output powered and this splitter continues to sense a signal. I used this with a cable box, Amazon Fire stick and Blu-ray player. Switching to the Blu-Ray player occurs automatically when it is powered ON, but with the cable box and Fire stick not being truly OFF, switching back to either usually requires a manual press of the source selector button. Overall, this does what is is designed to do (connects up to three devices to a single HDMI input on your TV), automatically switches to the most recently powered ON source and the manual source select button saves the day when needed!

automatic switch?
I have two of these and have found it does not work like I would like it to. It does not auto switch with the electronics I use on it.
