It's been half a yr since I purchased this, so I think it's now safe to leave a review. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Extremely comfortable, sturdy, and reliable. Been in 2 accidents since getting this ( it's fine, I'm okay) and it barely got a scratch. And when I mean accident I mean absolutely crashed into pavement. Super duper good and light weight. You can easily fit it into your backpack or gym back. And has built in slots for motorcycle headphones which is nice, although you should probably size up so you're not extremely muffled when on calls.

This is a very good helmet for $130.Pros: Comfortable padding, quality construction, sunshield, venting, eye glasses/earbud friendly, non-mushroom look, quiet, light weightCons: chin guard is very close to your noseFrom the outside the sunshield is coal black but looking through it it's a light smoke color. I rode at dusk and could still see well. Bonus...ILM just launched it's clear shield as a separate purchase.I agree with other reviews...Order one size bigger.

Fit and finish could be better. The nose piece rubs a bit and their is foam exposed by the upper part of the eye protection

Fits well with prescription glasses... just have to take them off to put the helmet on then put them back on. No big deal though as I haven't had any issues aside from that. Visor is tinted enough to help block out some sun and not be obnoxious. Overall great fit. Worth the cost over some of the other options out there.

The media could not be loaded. This is the best feeling helmet I've worn, honestly. I used to use a FLY Racing motocross helmet and paid nearly $200 for it compared to how much I paid for this one and I gotta say I'm pretty blown away. It weighs less, fits better and (imo) looks better too. I love that I'm able to take the face guard and visor off and being able to pull down the tinted eye shield is really nice too. My glasses were a pain (literally) to wear with the FLY helmet but they fit perfectly in this helmet. There is a pocket in the ear area for wireless headphones to go which is awesome. Also, being able to open or close the vent on the face guard and two more on the top sides of the helmet is going to be really nice when the warm weather comes back. The visor looks like it should be resistant to water while raining, though I've yet to test it but I will say that it hasn't had too many issues with fogging up. It does a little bit but I'll just get some antifog and slather that on there. Oh also, the quick release strap is AWESOME and I'm so glad I don't gotta fiddle with the loop strap of my old helmet anymore! Overall, 10/10 and Baron Slorb the Resilient approves as well.

I bought this helmet as a gift for my husband. He loves the versatility of the helmet either removing parts for different types of helmet styles. The color is very much his style as well. Nice helmet for the money.

Bought this for my spouse. She loves the design and the fit is perfect. If you aren't sure of the size you need, go to their website and they have a size chart that also shows where to take the correct measurement on your head.

This is my first full-faced DOT approved helmet. I use it whenever I ride my e-bike to work and back. I feel safer and it fits over my glasses. It hardly fogs up and I can see and hear clearly. It also looks cool with the army green and stars. I'll stay with ILM for my future needs. Thanks! Be sure to measure your head before ordering to get the right size.
